That was top of my priority list as they really need the money but it was fully booked yesterday so i guess a lot of people had the same priority to give money to which is great to know.

I would rather go to the theatre or swimming than go to a pub.

Let's hope they all have a good (and safe) summer. Having to operate with same costs but no revenue aside from donations must have hit them hard.

We love a trip to a local zoo when we have a weekend away. Amsterdam zoo (the real one, not de wallen) is great !

Chester zoo is booked up for weeks.

Only the outdoor enclosures are open though, so although I'm not a fan of it, I wouldn't be bother yet anyway.

Do any zoos have pubs inside them? That would be the best of both worlds.

Not to my knowledge, but I've visited a fair few pubs in my younger drinking days to wonder if they were zoos inside

I shall be happy to purchase a lovely picnic set off Amazon, order some nice wine online, get an Ocado delivery of scrumptious goodies, and head to a beautiful forest, find a quiet spot off the beaten track, and just enjoy missus DS's company and the sounds of nature.

(Nothing filthy intended btw. No one wants to frighten the horses or get a sex offender's record for outdoor procreation).

Flamingo land had a bar, not sure it still does.

There’s a pub in Essex that has a small zoo attached to it as well.

My friend managed to get into a zoo before lockdown eased....

Told me it was terrible, no animals at all, no where to be seen.

Until he tells me, there was one solitary dog.

He couldn't believe it...

It was a shitzu
