A small glimmer of hope. The last thing anyone with half a brain cell should want is more government control creeping into life.

Couldn't organise an orgy in a brothel comes to mind when you think of government, whatever their denomination

It's always seemed a bit redundant to me having a vaccine passport AND needing to provide negative tests prior to travel to/from destinations?

I understand other countries can impose restrictions for entry as they see fit, and if country x states it's a requirement then you must take that into consideration before going away

But to have it as a requirement within the country to access amenities is something that should be fought against tooth and nail

We are not, nor should not, be the country of 'papers please'

My husband hasn't got a vaccine passport but does a have a vaccine card, don't have any issues carrying that.

It's either carry card or don't work.

Government control?

How so?

As you’re all saying, they couldn’t organise an orgy in a brothel.

Because it'll be facilitated and managed by a governmental department. And having the government write legislation regarding our civic freedoms in line with our medical history is hardly desirable
