At least it will be a very high grade of trial for it, leading to more conclusive understanding of it.

You have to have had covid symptoms for 14 days before requesting to join the trial. How do you test its prophylactic and anti-viral properties when the patient is through the viral phase and into the inflammation phase? It strikes me as a trial designed to fail. Next question is why wasn't this being done a year ago.

If this proves to be successful then Merck won’t be happy! They need their new drug to be the go to treatment, not this 40yr old drug that is out of patent!

Merck still sell a lot of it. So I would imagine they would be quite happy if it was successful.

No not really.

A) Ivermectin is out of Patent meaning it is now a generic able to be produced by other companies (ie no money for Merck)

B) They are pinning their hopes (and stock value rise) on their new treatment that will have a far higher price, they will be sole producer and therefore keep all the profits.

C) A cheap proven generic alternative will impact on sales of their new drug - hence why they released a statement a few weeks back saying they did not support Ivermectin as a Covid treatment.

This could of course all be academic if the research finds it isn’t any good!

The new Merck treatment is still at the trials stage. That may fail too

It might yes. The US Govt has a conditional initial order worth something like $1.7bn (if it passes trials).

No-one knows anything yet. A proper trial is starting. That's the news. We must wait for the data to come out and see whether it is in fact helpful or not. If it's helpful, then that's great. But we shouldn't be pushing unproven treatment on people, trying to suggest it is some cure-all.

Let's see what the trial finds out.

We don't live in India, until such time as the MHRA after comprehensive trials have taken place grant authority for any medication then our NHS can't use them..

If it's passed etc it's good news until then where and whom else is using it is irrelevant here ..

And if Ivermectin proves to have little utility at treating Covid, or proves to have even minor side effects at the level for which vaccines are being denounced? Say one person dead in a million treated? The level of deaths proven to be due to vaccines is even lower than this, and yet is being touted by some people as conclusive evidence that the vaccination programme should be stopped.

The only thing that the rational people on this forum have been saying is that claims for medical treatments must be scientifically proven. Some vaccines have been proven to be effective and safe. Some candidate vaccines have been proven to be either ineffective or unsafe during their trials, and any use of those vaccines has been prohibited (at costs of tens or hundreds of millions to the companies developing those vaccines, seems that Big Pharma does not always push poison into people's veins...). Some previously existing drug treatments have proven to be effective and safe, and not only the expensive ones. Some previously existing drug treatments have been proven to be ineffective or unsafe, and not just the cheap ones, and are not being used for treating Covid.

It's called science.

I personally would be overjoyed if anyone finds some dirt cheap treatment that is both safe and effective against Covid. But it has to be proven by reputable and ethical scientific trial mechanisms. Which is clearly not the same as someone reporting on FaceTube that "my grandmas next door neighbours mother in law had a swig of the cat's flea remover solution, and she got better from Covid", then insisting that flea remover is obviously the miracle cure that is being suppressed by the Global Rulers...

Most (including the scientific community) have only said that "propper trials are needed", and the manufacturers said it’s not a viable treatment.

Tbf, anything I've said on the forums I'd be more than happy to say to someone's face.

I agree there can be nastiness in here but it's an emotive subject and there are very few people that are sitting on the fence, there seem to be groups of people at either end of the spectrum.

I've tried to be as polite as I can be, unfortunately, I've seen what the misinformation and outright lies about the vaccine can do, people can, and will, die because of the false information and it shouldn't be allowed.

I'm all for a drug that can be used to treat covid, especially if it's cheap and readily available, it just needs the same trials and testing as the vaccines, then to pass the relevant safety checks and be passed for use in this country.

No, this drug was being hailed as some sort of miracle without the comprehensive data to back it up and a distinct lack of confidence of its effectiveness. At the same time, the vaccines, which were extensively tested and passed for use in this country and many others worldwide, were being

called dangerous and unsafe.

That's where the issue lay, the hypocrisy and the blatant twisting of MHRA data to try and convince people not to take the life saving vaccines and instead put our trust in what was essentially an untested drug (for covid).

I don't know at the beginning, but last week sometime people were still shouting that people were conspiracy people as soon as the drug was mentioned and even after I mentioned the WHO confirming there was a trial of it.

Maybe the best thing for everyone to do on this section is open your mind to what people are saying and challenge what they are saying if wanted without going in all guns blazing accusing them of anything and it may get better / different responses

One example of this was when the vaccinations first came out I was wary of actually getting it and said so,it really didn't go down well with people who are insistent that people should get the vaccine. (That really doesn't work with people being told what to, especially so forceful )

Bearing in mind that I didn't say that I wasn't getting it but the reactions were not very civil

I don't think a heated discussion is necessarily a bad thing as long as it doesn't include insults etc. It's natural for people to become heated when discussing something they believe in, I do agree that it shouldn't resort to insults etc.

It’s all about tone and setting off on the right foot.

If someone states that people having the vaccines are sheeple it will illicit a certain response.

If someone states anyone not having the vaccine is a selfish idiot it will illicit a certain response.

Social media drives tribalist behaviour. People need to cool their jets and realise that this (life) is complex and nuanced. That it isn’t black & white or right & wrong. There are shades of grey and moral dilemmas at play.

So, for example, just because someone is excited or optimistic about another potential treatment to tackle Covid, it doesn’t translate to them being anti-vax - even if they have concerns over the vaccines.

Being optimistic is absolutely fine, misusing data and twisting it is not. That's always been my issue.

But people on BOTH sides have behaved badly. There are still plenty of folk sitting in the middle ground who also get patronised (by both sides) if they raise concerns or ask questions.

At the end of the day IF Ivermectin turns out to be a good treatment to tackling Covid then that is fantastic news. It doesn’t mean vaccines are bad or redundant.

What it possibly does do is provide a cheaper alternative for the c.180 countries in the world who can’t afford a vaccine programme like the UK and other richer nations. That will actually help the UK and the World (cos we sure ain’t closing our borders properly).

I've agreed multiple times that discovering drugs that are effective against covid is a great thing. However, often, along with championing ivermectin, people are stating the vaccines are dangerous, using MHRA data as evidence, which it most certainly is not.

I also agree that there is bad behaviour in both camps.

Reflection is needed on both sides to be more tolerant, that includes me. However, I will still question lies and misinformation as it's dangerous.

In the long term, vaccination programmes usually end up being the cheaper alternative than drug treatment. Particularly if the disease can be eliminated or at least reduced to a low level by achieving herd immunity through vaccination.

Drug treatment might be low cost per dose, but those doses have to keep on being administered, as people keep catching the disease.

Vaccines might be more expensive per shot (although the AZ vaccine, and possibly others, are being made available to poorer countries heavily subsidised or in some cases free), but a huge degree of protection is provided by a one off shot (or two for covid and some other diseases, limited number anyway) quite often even in the absence of booster shots.

Compare for instance malaria, for which there is no vaccine and billions are spent on treatment every year, with smallpox which has been eradicated by a successful vaccine programme and now costs the world exactly zero every year.

Both vaccines and drug treatments have their places, but cost comparisons are not necessarily simple - drug cheap, vaccine expensive is not always the right conclusion.

If it works, great.

First it needs to be proven that it works - to the same standards as any other medicine.

Studies are good. If they're not high quality studies, they're a starting point.

My objection is the idea that we should treat people without the studies.

That goes for anything, not just Ivermectin.

To be fair, even IF it does prove to be an effective treatment for people hospitalised with Covid, that is a long way away from the "Cure for Covid" that it is being touted as. It was the whole "why are they forcing us to have this FAKE vaccine when there is a CURE available" narrative that caused the disagreements.

Ultimately, we will find out in due course what the results from the trials are and fingers crossed it can be added to the armoury of weapons against the virus. It won't remove the need to vaccinate though.

I stated on previous posts both ivermectin that the "current" advice is to not use, and previous trials showed that it was ineffective at " safe" levels. The advice from various medical places was please do not use. If this is properly tested and trialled and found to be safe then of course my opinion will change. ( WHO actually said people were dying from taking medication into prescribed for this)

But the thing is current research had shown it was ineffective and not safe. And was all very small scale tests... this will obviously be a much bigger one

Why would Oxford University include this drug in their trial if existing small scale studies show it is ineffective and not safe?

This view is also contrary to the statement by Principle, "Professor Chris Butler, from the University Oxford’s Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences, Joint Chief Investigator of the PRINCIPLE trial, said, ‘Ivermectin is readily available globally, has been in wide use for many other infectious conditions so it’s a well-known medicine with a good safety profile, and because of the early promising results in some studies it is already being widely used to treat COVID-19 in several countries."

It's a known medication for other conditions with a good safety profile when taken as indicated for those other conditions.

It's had some *early* studies with positive results. Yes, it's being used. To say that this is a good thing is like saying that the vaccines we have should have been released for mass use in October of last year, or maybe even earlier. Or like saying that the mRNA vaccines should be approved for 6 months to 12 years now - I'm not saying that, I think the studies should be done properly, but the early data is promising.

We study things to find out *if* they work and *if* it's a good idea to approve them for general use.

This study is "this is worth further analysis".

Because that's known to be toxic.

There are some preliminary data in cell culture that indicate that Ivermectin may work against Covid. Whether that translates into in the body at a safe dose is unknown.

I'm not saying it definitely does not work. I'm saying don't treat people with unproven drugs - that's reckless and dangerous.

Trials prove drugs. So, maybe this will help prove it.

perhaps to show that its not a conspiracy theory to not test it. It's been something thrown about on social media as some sort of miracle cure. Yet apart from one trial of I believe 7 people it was shown to he ineffective and the doses needed to be beyond the safety limitations for humans.

If they show it works then great.. but as the company that owns it said it wasnt fit for purpose... we shall have to wait and see.

And the point about the drug maker not suggesting its use - this is linked to the question I asked about whether the new Merck covid drug (the expensive one) is similar/developed from their out of patent Ivermectin drug?

It's unproven. Which means it's irresponsible to randomly hand it out.

Levothyroxine is also safe and effective when taken at appropriate doses for the diseases it's indicated for. No/ almost no side effects, life saving. It's been generic for well over 20 years and is incredibly cheap.

So imagine someone saying that therefore we should give it out for Covid. In higher doses than is given for thyroid disease.

A milligram of levothyroxine a day, prophylactic against Covid. Miracle! (I take under 200 micrograms a day, for reference, which is a very high dose)

What's irritability, hyperactivity, loose stools, uncontrollable weight loss despite diet, tachycardia, heart attack and death between friends? It's cheap and safe!

So many things have been denied in strong terms only for them now to be seen to be true.

We'll only know the truth when the history books are written.

I think we'll eventually see that HCQ was also a good treatment.

Public opinion is always managed... what really matters is the motivations of those directing it, be they in government or media. It is difficult to “inform” the public clearly when the data is inconclusive and complex.

"And yet HCQ trials were conducted on people who were already too ill and done without zinc.

Always a good idea to be sceptical

Show me the evidence and I'll believe. Until there's evidence it's a conspiracy theory."

The phrase 'conspiracy theory' is too often used to close down honest debate.

Information on the lack of zinc in the HCQ trials was reported in the French newspapers...and no-one has challenged the claim

Was zinc used? Have you got evidence?

"You have to have had covid symptoms for 14 days before requesting to join the trial. How do you test its prophylactic and anti-viral properties when the patient is through the viral phase and into the inflammation phase? It strikes me as a trial designed to fail. Next question is why wasn't this being done a year ago."

First people demand it be used without any evidence of its effectiveness. Then they decide to run a test & its ‘designed to fail’. Come on, you complain the vaccines aren’t tested enough, but snake oil should be used just because some loon on YT says its a banker.

Why wasn’t it done a year ago, I have no idea - maybe because it wouldn’t make a difference, maybe because doses big enough to make a difference might harm people. Maybe because people were trying to find a vaccine to reduce the numbers getting Covid in the first place.

My question is why do people assume that conspiracy crap has any merit?

At first it was claimed that CV came from 'wet markets'. Now it is accepted that governments were funding the Wuhan lab which was working on CV.

Further, that research was into 'gain of function'. Why?

Yet it was dismissed as 'conspiracy crap'. The 'conspiracy' phrase is simply employed to deter people from asking questions

"A lot of people are the forum may well soon need to eat their words

Yes they certainly might... question is which group of people...

This view is also contrary to the statement by Principle, "Professor Chris Butler, from the University Oxford’s Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences, Joint Chief Investigator of the PRINCIPLE trial, said, ‘Ivermectin is readily available globally, has been in wide use for many other infectious conditions so it’s a well-known medicine with a good safety profile, and because of the early promising results in some studies it is already being widely used to treat COVID-19 in several countries."perhaps to show that its not a conspiracy theory to not test it.

It wouldn't be correct to say that it is ineffective and not safe though.

It's cheap and safe!"

It's already been used in trials.

For whatever reason, these trials/studies were being dismissed and berated.

Now, these trials/studies are being used as the basis to include the drug in a larger trial.

In the databases compiling clinical trials, both zinc and HCQ rate poorly, despite many trials being completed. Zinc has zero positive completed trials and HCQ has one of 18. (Castleman Disease Collaborative Network, Corona project)

If this were for vaccines they'd have been pulled already because that's irresponsible and dangerous. And yet two things with largely negative evidence are supposed to magically work together because it makes some people happy? Umm, no.

Let's stop flogging the dead horse. It doesn't work. Let's focus on what does, not fantasies.

Principle taking a punt or they are happy to include the drug in their trial as it has "a good safety profile" and "early promising results in some studies" ?

What has triggered Principle to include the drug in its trials now?

Every trial is a "punt". That's why it's a trial.

Why didn't they take a punt on trialling a bleach solution to kill the covid virus?"

They probably read the label on the bleach bottle.

Indeed, and so it is understandable that Principle has looked at the existing trials and early promising results for Ivermectin, and now included it in their trials.

"If this proves to be successful then Merck won’t be happy!

This could of course all be academic if the research finds it isn’t any good!"

They could easily re-patent the drug for its new use….

That's a one for the patent lawyers, however, with my limited experience of patents I'm not so sure it is as simple as attaching new Claims to an existing Patent that has time expired.

That's an odd conclusion to draw...you can't set out to test something using a priori conclusions... before the test!

Especially as the recommended dose is HCQ together with zinc...why deliberately leave one out?

Is that a good way to test?

Surely it is best to keep an open mind

Taking too high a dose or taking ivermectin long term can cause poisoning. Hence why the study needs to be done. To see if the benefit to harm ratio is a good one or even if it works at all.

The drivers for trials have largely vanished, as a preprint paper that had been cited by metaanalyses as positive support for using it, was withdrawn, leaving next to nothing suggesting its use was anything but a confidence trick and near mass hysteria, in some circles. The preprint appeared to have been cobbled together by some monkeys, with text copied in bulk from elsewhere and the attached Excel files of their data had numerous cells that contained guff as well as the letter,, 'O' being used instead of the number - and it wasn't the only digit replaced by random characters. In essence, no statistical analysis could have been attempted from the cobbled together junk files. It was worthless.

Under the direction of a reputable establishment, and with stringent standards adhered to it will be interesting to see the results of the Oxford PRINCIPLE trial when they are made available....I guess until then the efficacy and safety of the drug is very much a moot point.

"Interesting that the USFDA just told people to stop taking Ivermectin as too many people have been poisoned already….

Even bigger question - how the feckity feck is it possible for a meta-analysis to be carried out that includes a pre print of such woeful quality AND for these meta-analyses to inform decisions on whether we should spend time and money further investigating certain things?! Jeez

I know!! . I explored the Excel files and was flabbergasted. It was unreal. Did you see them?

Yes. I looked at everything that was made available and it was absolutely shocking that it was even looked at by anyone with the slightest scientific nouse

I'm glad you saw it, as atrocious as it was . Just a tragedy that it helped to drive the Ivermectin goose chase, with some people taken ill from it and others potentially avoiding vaccines.

It won't convince the true believers.

There's a call among some for pharmacists to be barred from stopping inappropriate prescriptions.

And apparently shortages of veterinary medicine

Do not take ivermectin, you are not a sheep.

Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaa "

I thought that was sheeple

Ah, YouTube. Where all the things scientists and doctors have conveniently overlooked/not noticed, go to be shared to the faithful.

It's been added to a trial to give a summative answer to the ivermectin question. Note the date on the link - June, so two months ago.

Ivermectin has still NOT been shown through any actual scientific method, to be of use in COVID treatment. The vaccines HAVE been proven to be useful in reducing severe COVID infection, via clinical trials and real world data worldwide.

It's being tried! In an actual scientific trial, rather than by the medium of "make it up, invent data and mislead the masses," which is the methods used around ivermectin, to date.

For a start, there's two completely different pharma companies producing mRNA based COVID vaccines and one of them is merely producing it. They didn't actually invent it (the small biotech firm who did lacks the mass production facilities).

Can you actually explain what mRNA is, what it does?! Most people chatting on about it haven't got the first clue.

The trial is probably worth doing if only to put it to bed that it doesn't work. So people can stop possibly poisoning themselves and seek proper proven treatment."

Wouldn't matter what the hell the trial result shows. The grifters and their tame idiots are just going to say that the trial was biased, or subverted by big pharma, or it only works when you mix zinc and vitamin D with it, and when the trial is redone with those ingredients that the proportions were wrong, or it needed some other magic fairy dust sprinkling on it.

Snake oil salesmen just keep on selling snake oil, until every last one of their customers are stone dead. All these trials are doing is wasting money and scientists time that could have been better spent looking towards improvements in real treatments.

Anybody that believes in ivermectin come buy some cure from me instead. I'm sure that I've got some bottles of god knows what in the cupboard under the sink, I can mix them all together and flog it off at fifty quid a shot. Guaranteed to kill covid or kill the patient, money back if not satisfied (that's me not satisfied, not you not satisfied), apply in writing no earlier than ten years after treatment (got to give it time to work, just like brexit ).

Why the push? . Could be that vaccines are our only preventative tool with evidence. .

We just have vaccines and restrictions as the known, reliable tools to limit all of the damage from this virus. Touting a drug that isn't approved for this and is causing harm to people, isn't responsible. It also could mean that vulnerable people avoid vaccination and die, as a result.

I fully support anyone who wants to take Invermectin against the advice of the US FDA, NICE and NHS doctors. It is their right; as are the life threatening and debilitating consequenses of doing so.

Personally I will stick to the vaccinations which have now reached almost 5,000,000,000 world wide with statiscally very few serious side effects. For me, apart from the Government chip setting off security loops in Aldi, I have had no side effects.

I don't think a heated discussion is necessarily a bad thing as long as it doesn't include insults etc. It's natural for people to become heated when discussing something they believe in, I do agree that it shouldn't resort to insults etc.

That will actually help the UK and the World (cos we sure ain’t closing our borders properly)."

Cheaper for now. When/if it is proven to prevent the severe effects of the infection, it will be re-patented for that use alone.

I'll also just say that the vaccine "primes" your immune system against the virus....ivermectin treats the effects of the infection (if it works, and so far it looks as if it *may* work for *some* people).

My personal observation is that using it will be similar to using aspirin to treat a headache caused by a brain tumour.

Why not share your knowledge of what mRNA is then? The sorry fact is that most people spouting tripe about the vaccines (and pseudo treatments) have no clue about the under pinning science and cannot provide any scientific rationale or explanation for their wacky ideas.

And yes, I've looked into the YouTube "doctors", and despite some of them having medical credentials, they are departing from the actual scientific method and making up total BS. A bit like our friend Dr. Wakefield, now widely regarded as a criminal and a danger to the health of children. But he WAS (is no longer) a medical doctor.

Also beware the title of "doctor". Anyone with a PhD can use the title but the PhD could be in Japanese basket weaving. Only someone who is a medical doctor can profess to be, well, a medical doctor.

If "eastern" medicine works, then I agree, it should be part of the treatment. If it doesn't, it's not medicine.

I thought ivermectin was a pharmaceutical developed by Big Pharma, not herbal or eastern.

So far, the key 'evidence' that drove a feeding frenzy about it, including among those who are earning off the back of their YouTube hits , making money off the gullible.

We have medicines research and approvals processes for a reason. The vaccines have been through full research evidence stages and work. Most reasonable people will take and have taken this vaccine medicine, to get us out of this mess. You're in a country that's opened up because of the vaccines that are proven to work, not because of some crackpot peddling BS, for drugs that are harming people.

Darkhorse podcast on youtube have been saying this for at least 4 months, and were slated as antivaxxers. I'm on Ivermectine cheap and effective. This is why I'm suspicious of the vaccine, why the push when there's always been alternatives.

Sorry I disagree. They have had the patent holder of the mrna vax on thier show saying it's not for everyone. Each to thier own though i say

Anything said by a purveyor of nonsense on YouTube is, well, nonsense. There's no single patent holder of "the" mRNA vaccine.

I'm sorry have you even looked into these quack youtubers it's ignorant not to if you make comment. Yes im fully aware of what mrna is thankyou. and I'd rather take my chances with a tinpot loony than trust a flip flopping goverment that fu*k up entire countries.

So, what is mRNA, then? That was the question. Ask the goverment

I know what it is. I'm asking you to demonstrate your knowledge."

Some find plenty of time to post BS encouraging harmful drugs to be taken but there's no evidence of any understanding of the depth of, or even any research evidence, for the medication that's given us all freedom and wellbeing. Says it all, really.

Avermectin was isolated from soil bacteria by a Japanese scientist back in the 1970s. He sent it to Campbell of Merck, who carried out the purification of the compound and it's development for widespread use. They received the Nobel Prize together for the discovery in 2015.

It's exactly the same process by which most antibiotics were discovered, so it's as traditionally Eastern as the discovery of penicillin.

In today’s Daily Mail.

A Texas father who organized local protest against pandemic restrictions and mandates is fighting for his life with covid as doctors tell his family his chances of recovery are 'slim to none,' according to his pregnant wife. Caleb Wallace, 30, has been unconscious, ventilated and heavily sedated in the ICU at Shannon Medical Center in San Angelo since August 8 after first being hospitalized on July 30. When he first began experiencing symptoms of the virus just four days before his hospitalization he refused to get tested instead treating himself a cocktail of Vitamin C, zinc, aspirin and ivermectin, an anti-parasitic drug that has been falsely touted by some as an effective treatment.

Texas ‘Freedom Defender’ who fought against 'COVID-19 tyranny' including mask mandates and vaccination dies of COVID-19 at the age of 30

Caleb Wallace, 30, who was fighting to end 'COVID-19 Tyranny' died of COVID

He had been unconscious, ventilated and heavily sedated in the ICU at Shannon Medical Center in San Angelo since August 8

The father of three- with another child due next month- was a founder of 'The Freedom Defenders', which protested against vaccines and mandates

When he began experiencing symptoms he refused testing or medical care instead concocting cocktail of Vitamin C, zinc, aspirin and ivermectin

Ivermectin is an anti-parasitic drug that has been falsely touted by some as an effective COVID-19 treatment

This month the FDA issued a warning for Americans to stop taking the anti-parasitic drug intended for livestock as a treatment

Caleb's wife, Jessica, said, 'He was so hard-headed. He didn't want to see a doctor, because he didn't want to be part of the statistics with COVID tests'

The stay-at-home mom is expecting the couple's fourth child next month and has begun a GoFundMe page to raise money for household and medical bills

What's the point of this article?.

So one person who stood administered some drugs and vitamins and subsequently died proves what?.

We could reverse this article with vaccines he got hold of instead of the various other things and get the same result, do we say vaccines don't work?

Doses, time between dosage, time between dosage and infection, amount of viral load when in infected, individuals responses to drugs.

We might as easy find an article where it says woman who was Pro vaccine, first in queue, wears masks daily washes hands and still dies of COVID! So clearly it's a waste of time?.

Two things seem to be apparent to me

We want to get out of this Pandemic.

Vaccines+restrictions aren't going to do it on there own.

We need drugs that counter the disease, I don't know if ivermectin is it, it could be, it could that plus a combination of other drugs, we'll never know until we trial things, without pressure to trial generic drugs, the trillion dollar pharmaceutical ain't going to do it, it's against their margins and they like expensive vaccines, were spending more time arguing and censoring than experimenting.

I don't think that's going to get us out of this Pandemic quicker.

Fox News are a prime mover in this… the fact that the cdc had to put out a tweet this week saying “ you are not a horse, you are not a cow! Seriously… stop it!!!!”

I think it’s sad that people won’t trust the vaccine, but think it’s okay to take a horse and cow dewormer!!!!

Mind you the cases of people ending up in hospital after taking it are mainly in Texas, Alabama, Arkansas and Mississippi…. So the southern redneck belt

The point of the article is that there are people who do not listen the health authorities but what they hear from social media or other people who do not know what they are talking about (like the guys from Fox News) and put their health in danger.

And some of them like the man in the article are so brainwashed that they refuse even to do some basic things like go and see a doctor.

Yes I've never quite understood that, at the start of this trump was the pro vaccine, let's get these shots in arms as fast as possible and biden Harris and the sex pest governor in New York were the ones saying who's going to take these shots, they won't get them out of trials fast enough, I would've take anything that trump tells you to take?.

But this should not be about politics. We have a pandemic situation and the advice from the science is our best bet.

One more guy who chose to experiment with invermectin with fatal consequences. Also in today’s daily mail.

Georgia cop, 57, who posted anti-vaxx messages on Facebook and took an anti-parasitic drug meant for horses as a COVID-19 'cure', dies of the virus

Captain Joe Manning, 57, died from COVID-19 after refusing to get vaccinated and taking Ivermectin, the anti-parasitic drug commonly used for farm animals

Manning celebrated his right not to get vaccinated on Facebook and promoted the use of Ivermectin to combat the virus despite FDA and CDC warnings

Facebook had taken down one of his posts for 'spreading misinformation'

The U.S. has seen a spike in the use of Ivermectin, with more than 88,000 prescriptions handed out last week and spike in calls to poison control centers

Tucker Carlson, Sean Hannity and Laura Ingraham have promoted the use of the drug against COVID-19 despite no evidence suggesting it helps

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9937003/Georgia-cop-posted-anti-vaxx-messages-Facebook-took-Ivermectin-dies-COVID-19.html

Point is, even though most people may not die from experimenting, if they get covid, experience symptoms and experiment against doctors’ advice, they will probably end in a very bad way.

Absolutely certain that this guy would also be against providing any help for those in need, would protest against obamacare, would shout that he was a self made man and that everyone should pay their own way. And now his own fuckwittedness has left a widow that is having to beg for money on the internet to pay off his avoidable hospital bill and feed his kids. I imagine that any health insurance he had is refusing to pay because he wouldn't take the vaccine. Thirty years old, killed by terminal stupidity, and destroyed the lives of his family.

And some of them like the man in the article are so brainwashed that they refuse even to do some basic things like go and see a doctor.

AND???? There body and life so free to choose what they do with it.if that means they die well thats there choice, why are people so obsessed with what others do to themselves you listen to who you want to so why critasize those who listen to whoever they want to,"

Just a pity that they've left shitty messes for their families to have to clear up. Kids that are going to have fucked up lives because their father was a selfish idiot.

The person whose news I shared 2 days ago, passed away. RIP.

But with some antivaxxers, you can never be sure!"

I think you have to tone down a bit your views. For your own sake.

You are talking about people not following the covid religion but two people passed away for not following what you say was covid religion.

It is not covid religion, it is simple advice from most scientists.

Get vaccinated for your protection, listen to the science, do not listen to conspiracy theorists or what they tell you or what you read on facebook, youtube or else.

You do not want to get vaccinated. Fine

You want to be free to decide. Fine

But do not fall for all the rubbish that are not part of the Covid religion.

This rubbish cost the life of two people who believed in alternative therapies, vitamins and if they could talk to you now from their graves they would not brag about how well they did for going against the doctrines of covid religion.

Cause they paid the ultimate price.

ok i will change that to 100% certain id still be alive can think of half a dozen peeps off the top of my head who have declined the jab and there fine,my daughter being one of them,my 10 year old grandson had covid cpl months ago and daughter still didnt catch it she also worked all the way through locdowns and didnt pick it up,its like it dosent affect some people eh

The person whose news I shared 2 days ago, passed away. RIP.

The point of the article is that there are people who do not listen the health authorities but what they hear from social media or other people who do not know what they are talking about (like the guys from Fox News) and put their health in danger.

And some of them like the man in the article are so brainwashed that they refuse even to do some basic things like go and see a doctor.

AND???? There body and life so free to choose what they do with it.if that means they die well thats there choice, why are people so obsessed with what others do to themselves you listen to who you want to so why critasize those who listen to whoever they want to,

Just a pity that they've left shitty messes for their families to have to clear up. Kids that are going to have fucked up lives because their father was a selfish idiot.but surley if there father was a selfish idiot they will be better off without him? We all know your views on those who dont follow the covid religion like u do

Cause they paid the ultimate price.i dont need to tone down anything and as for the jab ive been done twice thanks, those two guys died because they chose what they wanted to choose, you know like adults do make there own choicesjust because its not something you or i would choose so what, they were adults they took a gamble and it didnt pay off thats life"

Not when you gamble with your life at stake (of course they did not know this). You can not say that’s life. If one is dumb enough to play Russian roulette, you can not say that this is life. In their case, a vaccine could have probably kept them alive.

It is not like they were racing cars, they knew the risks but they died doing what they loved.

Do you really believe that they knew the risks? The 30 year old guy seemed to he completely brainwashed.

You know there was another guy in the UK who died recently. Very educated. He was so convinced that if he got covid his body will fight it naturally that when he got symptoms he said that he was hoping it was covid so that he could prove his theory. And he was recording his experience with covid. Even when his symptoms were really bad he refused to believe that he needed to go to the hospital. He died trying to prove a point. If this guy was. not brainwashed with what he had read on the internet I do not know how else to put it.

https://www.standard.co.uk/news/uk/covid-anti-vax-vaccine-lawyer-dies-leslie-lawrenson-b949378.html

I do not mind if you think differently from the way I do. But at least you have to stare at some facts, some of these people who died they died not because they knew the risks. They were brainwashed.

If you go to this guy’s fb account you will see the videos he posted while he had covid. He was not taking risks. He was really believing that his body immunity was sufficient to fight off the virus. He did not even think he was taking a gamble.

So if you go with a 1% chance of death of even debilitating outcome, that gives a 30% chance of a funeral or hospital vigil Id be attending.

Worth the gamble?

When we have gold standard treatments, it's tragic that some people have invested lots of energy into discouraging their use and sometimes pushing quack cures.

"In today’s Daily Mail

The person whose news I shared 2 days ago, passed away. RIP.

Cause they paid the ultimate price.i dont need to tone down anything and as for the jab ive been done twice thanks, those two guys died because they chose what they wanted to choose, you know like adults do make there own choicesjust because its not something you or i would choose so what, they were adults they took a gamble and it didnt pay off thats life

Not when you gamble with your life at stake (of course they did not know this). You can not say that’s life. If one is dumb enough to play Russian roulette, you can not say that this is life. In their case, a vaccine could have probably kept them alive.

It is not like they were racing cars, they knew the risks but they died doing what they loved.

of course they knew the risks unless they were living under a rock for the last year u cant escape being smashed over the head by all the propaganda, they chose to take another path, like i said they were adults who gambled and lost,i know u would like everyone to think the same way you do but thats the great thing about humanbeings we are all different, some i like some i dont and most im indiiferent to

He did not even think he was taking a gamble."

he was a grown man who made his choice, you may not like the choice he made but was his choice to make, you cant make everybody do what you think is right, you seem really invested in this story about a guy you never met and never knew, why is that? HE belived he made the right choice, and if he had had hardly any symptoms it would of been the right choice for him, unfortunatley for him he rolled the dice and lost, but again was his choice to make
