Absolutely had it, will have a booster every time it is offered wether its for a year or for life.

Unfortunately it's easy to post lies in social media and brainwash millions of people.

I listened to a man on the radio this morning telling of his wife and daughter who both died within days of each other and buried days apart, after being separated by two beds in a local hospital. Both refused to take the vaccine as they didn't need it being fit and healthy. I haven't heard any similar stories of healthy people taking the vaccine.

Hmmm...who to trust....

A) Thousands of medical professionals around the world who have EXPERTISE in the subject of vaccines.

B) Dave or Karen off Facebook who both failed GCSE Science

C) Loony conspiracy theory guy off YouTube who has no mates and needs to feel like he has to do something to validate his sad existence.

Easy. Mixture of B&C please.

Look at the data. The effects from the vaccines is especially clear and significant. Often the benefits of vaccines are the invisible ways that we can just have a safer, easier life. We get on with it. Unlike the many extremely tragic stories of young and older people who thought they'd be fit and strong enough but have since died an excruciatingly painful death, often leaving devastated families in their wake. Even many of the noisy antivaxers have resented not getting a vaccine before they died. The rest of us mostly live on, blissfully healthy.

Infections are going to be very high soon, with consequent rises in hospital admissions and deaths - almost all of them avoidable. It's a truly shocking state of affairs, in our enlightened age.

"Nope not here .. I’ve as much trust in the clot jab then I have in the Taliban not planning to blow us up with are own ammunition "

So... Hundreds of millions have been administered and a tiny number of people had genuinely worrying reactions.

Yet covid continues to hospitalise and kill thousands of unvaccinated people in this country alone. And those people are more likely to end up with long covid and to pass it on to others.

We have, plainly for selfish reasons, we wanted freedom and a little jab in the arm isn't a huge price to pay. You can say the side effects and blah blah, but trust me, we both are on and off smokers, we drink, have prescripted medicines... There's side effects to everything so, yeah, fuck it.

My specialist sorted me out early doors here and my wife and three kids here all have been double jabbed we hitch was their choice and our son in London gets his 2nd one today.

Alas I have a blood clot on my lung which really is a cunt but I believe I had that gift before being jabbed so not jab related at all but great timing.

We all will take the third jab and fourth and fifth and so on.

You need a basic grasp of statistics. Something like 90% of UK deaths connected to covid are now people who are not vaccinated.

The jury is not out. The jabs vastly reduce your chances of dying from covid and of being hospitalised. They what significantly reduce your chances of getting it at all and of passing it on.

That selfish attitude is what has got the planet into this state and it's time people started giving a fuck about others for the greater good.

Ohh please?? Not this spiel again?? greater good of others my arse!! X

So you don't give a shit about other people then? Fair do's at least you're honest.

Yes I care very much for other people! U dont know me so u wont know that! Fair enough! It's the people using this phrase that they doing it for the greater good of others! It's just a new thing said to people who decide for whatever reason choose not to have this vacine! Poppy cock! X"

If you're gonna make a smart arsed remark to someone, don't get your knickers in a twist when someone replies back in a forthright way. I also wasn't aware the phrase "the greater good" was only invented to belittle those who don't want the vaccine. Interesting.

Btw, you need more exclamation marks to emphasise your point.

Ciao.

Personally, i'd put all the unvaccinated unless they have a genuine medical reason on a desert island so they can all run around infecting each other with their conspiracy theories as well as the virus until they kill themselves off. COVID is a test of Survival of the fittest and natural selection, and those who have the common sense and ability to assimilate true scientific knowledge will in most cases survive, and those who don't, in many cases won't. So let nature take its course with the unvaccinated! Mind you i had the same view of one particular side of the Brexit debate as well, but i won't go there!!!!!

"

its still also killing people who have been jabbed so dont try and say its just killing the unvaxed

You need a basic grasp of statistics. Something like 90% of UK deaths connected to covid are now people who are not vaccinated.

The jury is not out. The jabs vastly reduce your chances of dying from covid and of being hospitalised. They what significantly reduce your chances of getting it at all and of passing it on.you said covid is still killing thousands of unvaxed,as if it isnt killing people who have been vaxed, double vaxed here but i dont feel the need to lie that its only killing unvaxed,i know your one of those people who thinks every man woman and child should be vaxed but if peeps wana take there chances with there own imune system then more power to them,no one should be trying to scare people into taking the jab"

Very interesting, particularly the quote: "As described above, several studies have provided evidence that vaccines are effective at preventing infection. I haven’t and don’t intend to. My body, my choice. I trust in my immune system. I don’t think there is a conspiracy, clearly covid is real and people are dying from it but it has a 99% survival rate of people that catch it. Getting the vax doesn’t stop you getting it, still have to wear a mask, keep your distance etc… if having the vax meant all that would stop, I may have considered it but it doesn’t so I won’t. I don’t think any less of people that have had the vax. I disagree strongly with children getting it. That’s fucked up. It’s been rushed through without any proper testing and that concerns me.

Both had both.

I know the vax doesn't stop us catching it, nor passing it on.

What is should very highly stop is

1. Either of us dying

2. Having to deal with the aftermath of number 2, including but not limited to

-devastated family/siblings/friends

-all the emotional aggro

-all the other paperwork and aggro

-possibly losing a home due to reduced income, therefore homelessness

-our reduced reduction to taxation, which means it has a knock-on effect on the economy, so services get cut elsewhere, affecting others

Ripples in a pond...

I'm not anti vax at all. I am anti bullying. And I'm anti people telling other people what medicine they must take. And the vaccines dont stop you from infecting your grandpa.

It would also make for an interesting discussion if the same logic and thought process were applied to those who have survived their virus infection ... As is applied to those who righteously proclaim how the vaccine was pain and effect free and so they are doing their bit.

So something like...

"I've had 2 jabs and felt nothing other than a slight prick and a headache and now I have some immunity" ..

Well plenty of people can also say...

"I've had covid and had no symptoms at all, or felt nothing but a slight headache and now I have some immunity."...

Now... It killed my mum in a horrible way, so I know it can be a bastard disease for many people too, and I'm jabbed up and will probably keep getting jabbed. But I am so tired of people telling others what needles they need in their arm... There seems very little appetite from leaders or citizens to do anything to stop the spread of the disease. So we get what we get. Which is 200k new infections / reinfections a week and 1000 deaths a week. Jab or no jab. I just wish we could be more understanding that some people aren't convinced of the risk analysis. But then that's their body and their prerogative.

On the plus side... The infections have been down for about a week since kids have gone back to school (how weird is that?) so hopefully this wave is receding a bit for now.

People fooled by it all! They have said the vaccine doesn't have full protection so basically just like another form of flu. People are so gullible as if the flu has just magically disappeared? My best friend who has terminal cancer! Who last summer when in hospital and apparently they were overwhelmed, Well it wasn't and said it was dead and the beds weren't all full up. Leicesters

I have nothing but sympathy for your friend and anyone with chronic long term disease. The reason why the hospitals seemed empty is that the staff who are usually stretched beyond belief were all redeployed and concentrated in critical areas. In order to carry out correct infection prevention processes you are required to have time and staff as a resource. In usual times staffing and time is so short that often infection control pratices are modified ( ignored) to increase patient flow. This is because there are not enough staff to carry this work out correctly and as we know the Government aren't keen on ensuring that enough staff are in place rather just flogging (not in a good way) those left till they leave the job.

The narrative that hospitals were quiet during C19 is frankly bull. Having spent many 13-16hr shifts in ICU in full PPE I don't know of anyone who was not busy where I worked and seeing people younger than me with less health issues dying in front of me from an aggressive virus with unknown pathology scared the crap out of me. My advice to anyone GET THE VACCINE.

He was in hospital during that time so why was it empty? The beds were not full. The whole thing has been overhyped! Yes the virus is real but so is flu and other underlying health conditions. The government are nothing but liars and just wanting control! The mask wearing almost become normal, This is after the scientists clearly stated wearing them had no protection then changed their minds. Even the vaccines they have lied about it! It doesn't fully protect you and what about other complications from having them. Not think it's strange they found a vaccine so quickly but can't find a cure for cancer? People have died from cancer and other things! Not just Covid so stop prioritising it like it's the only thing to exist.

I haven't had either of them

I have covid now and it's horrible.

Haven't eaten since Wednesday, temp has been 39°c for days, cough until I'm sick, chest is tight.

Still don't want the vaccine though. Trusting my gut instinct on this one, I just don't want it. Going with my natural immunity on this one and letting my healthy body fight it. My body my choice.

Oh and no taste or smell, bleached the bathroom yesterday and everyone else was coughing because of the fumes, I was in the bath and couldn't smell that or zoflora. Bizarre.

had none, reason for this is the nhs website suggests i travel over 100-300 miles to my nearest centre, but i live under half a mile from a large vaccination centre, and several others close by. never made sense, after continuous checks on the web site, i have no interest any more.

Less likely? It seems that it is you that needs to get a grasp of the ‘stats’ ..... that show that double vax’d people are MORE prone to pass it on!

By the way I’m double Vax’d and will also have the booster when I’m eligible

But please don’t talk crap
