So, we were told numbers would "double daily". Where are all the doubters that usually scream conspiracy and lies.
Infection rates are rising around 10,000 per day, not exactly doubling every two days.
Unless, masks, social distancing and avoiding large groups - does actually make a difference?

It was sarcasm..
Rates in general are rising but not doubling every two days, so wondered why the doubters and conspiracy believers hadn't yet jumped on it claiming we've yet again been bullshitted into submission..
It'll probably change once it becomes dominant then they'll be claiming it made no difference.
Either way, they'll be right.. |

A near 40% increase in confirmed inspections?
And many of those are still delta-variant.
Consider: Children are much more likely to become symptomatically infected with omicron-variant. Many adults are vaccinated. Few children are.
And children are still enclosed in schoolrooms |

They should have finished schools a week or two early, or at least given the option to not go in to 'play christmas games' and mixed year group nativity plays.
I know a lot of schools have not got off as lightly as we have around here, although there have been many close calls. In many ways, glad they're broke up to give families a chance of a safer christmas.
It what happens in January when it takes hold harder and then do go back. |
