Canada's Justin Trudeau on the unvaccinated:

“They don’t believe in science/progress and are very often misogynistic and racist....This leads us, as a leader and as a country, to make a choice: Do we tolerate these people?"

This was taken from a recent French Canadian news interview.

What kind of 'leader' causes you to fear and hate your friends, family and neighbours?

In fact, what kind of person does that?

If only there were historic examples of other world leader's dehumanising people, and how that can lead to minor problems

Imagine'blackface' Trudeau hurling the racism insult at others

What a cunt

Whats your source for this? was it that dude on twitter whos comment (you may have) copied and pasted. Or did you get this story direct from the Canadian Online Anti-Government website? You know, the one which has already had to publicly apoligise for fabricating a Pandemic related story.

Direct quote on THEIR website in relation to the fake news.

"A spokesperson for the premier welcomed the unreserved apology and complete retraction.

“As we stated at the time of publishing, the Western Standard’s story was a complete fabrication,” the statement read. “Provided the Western Standard and Mr. Fildebrandt live up to the agreed upon terms, we consider this matter closed.”

Just to chuck into the mix also a 'newsite' that has been sanctioned by YouTube for violating YouTubes 'medical misinformation policy'

What kind of person presents something as fact without even the most cursory of investigation to determine the validity or not.

Either way it may be worth pointing out to him this is a swingers forum and not a fact check website. If people want to post something that may or may not be true and not provide links and sources (that seem to be the first demand from most people on here) then they are entitled to do so and you’re entitled to ignore them or go look it up yourself. Jeez!

Sick of people saying it’s irresponsible for other people to post stuff if they haven’t found 27 credible sources to demonstrate that it’s true.

It isn’t, you’re all grown ups it’s your own responsibility to determine if you take something you read as gospel or not

If the original story is false then fine

My comments about his blackface are fact

Regardless, the fact that anyone would support the segregation of people due to their beliefs is vile

They're not doing it for scientific reasoning (reducing the spread) otherwise they'd be calling for the segregation of unvaccinated children too (as they are just as capable of spreading the disease)

It's due to then being cowardly wretches, and fuck those people

So you’re saying it’s ok to knowingly spout lies? Or state stuff as fact without making the slightest attempt to check if it’s accurate?

In this instance, some people have accepted the original note is accurate and become highly offensive as a result. That’s what happens.

And meanwhile, the same people try to discredit mainstream media sources. Why? To spread uncertainty and further this ie own agenda

So knowing the terms when you sign up you shouldn’t possibly think or expect that what you read on the forums has been (or should be truth.

Modern day wizardry, some people are put under a spell some people cast a spell back fighting it out good verses evil.

I now that made sense you you, cos ...

Wha,,,,, "

I have no idea what you were actually trying to say, or what the basis was for the “good verses (sic) evil” assessment.

I have no idea what "Canadian Online Anti-Government website" you are on about.

If the Western Standard is the website you are referring to, I'd never heard of the until you mentioned it.

Out of interest, did you listen to the interview or did you present something as fact without even the most cursory of investigation to determine the validity or not?

You can find a link to the video of the interview on the papers website

However it IS in french and I can't speak it

However you'd think it would be very difficult for any source of information to post comments by someone, alongside the video OF the person saying the comment, and not be debunked unless it's a direct translation

Took 5 second's to find by googling Justin Trudeau unvaccinated

The interview is from September apparently

The main issue is that there ARE people who espouse such stances (as seen on this thread) and I stand by my comment that if you believe in the segregation of people because they haven't had a vaccine (and have hitherto never raised the idea of it as there have always been people who don't take vaccines) I call your humanity into question

Further, many of the 'anti vaxxers' you talk about are not anti vaxxers per se, as they will have previously had all their vaccines. They are merely unwilling to take THIS particular vaccine

Ive had all my vaccines as and when bar this one

I've never had a flu jab either. Does THAT make me anti vax? Patently not

"Canada's Justin Trudeau on the unvaccinated:

“They don’t believe in science/progress and are very often misogynistic and racist....This leads us, as a leader and as a country, to make a choice: Do we tolerate these people?"

This was taken from a recent French Canadian news interview.

What kind of 'leader' causes you to fear and hate your friends, family and neighbours?

In fact, what kind of person does that?"

I’d certainly like to keep as wide a berth as possible from anyone who’s deliberately failed to take the vaccine without a medical reason.

This is a dangerous dangerous message. Especially when the vaccine is still in the experimental stage. We still read in the media new findings week after week... Yet we are happy to take this?

It does seem like a witch hunt against people who do not have the same view point as the mainstream. People have the right to choose.

I really disapprove of how he extremely pigeon holes people who choose not to be vaccinate. It is inflammatory and promotes discrimination and ultimately it will promote violence and social bullying.... The social bullying has started.

He was speaking about people that are against the COVID vaccination.

He said "They don't believe in science, they're often misogynists, often racists."

In the context of people that are against COVID vaccinations, adding that they're "often misogynists, often racists" is totally unnecessary. It is inflammatory language that doesn't help an already volatile situation.

Not sure why you are so hung up on what someone in Canada might have said and what the exact context was. Clearly, people should get vaccinated, for their own good, and for the good of their society and economy.

But mere be honest, the main reason that most anti-vaxxers are against getting vaccinated is that they are being told that they should get vaccinated, and they hate being told what to do. You could tell them it’s good for them to drink water snd they would probably stop drinking water just the make a point. This isn’t about control, it’s about keeping people safe and alive.

Anyone !! That agrees with what Trudo said is either following hype and the crowd or is a sick twisted individual.

Personally I don't agree with antivaxxers, I have my issues with the vaccine only for the side effects and it affected 2 people close to me.

But we are forgetting human rights here and the freedoms of choices.

Millions did not die to allow freedoms they fought for to be overturned because of idealogical views differing!! This needs to stop.

It’s an odd area for people to decide to express their “freedoms”. The people who have developed vaccines have done an incredible job, and given us a route out of this awful pandemic with as little loss of life as possible. And some people have decided not to take the vaccine, apparently solely because it is there right to do so.

I can’t get into that mindset, but I do know some people who think this way. Personally I am extremely grateful to the people who developed the vaccines, to those who deliver them, and those who look after the people who get sick from the virus.

Over 90 per cent of people who are in ICU’s with covid in this country are unvaccinated. So unnecessary.

In most cases if is nothing to do with side effects. Look at this thread for example, lots of comments about rights and freedoms but no mention of any actual side effects.

It’s a judgment call. 40-50 times less likely to die from the virus if you get vaccinated vs remote possibility of blood clot (for example). That’s a judgment call that I found very easy that make.

Vaccines are a huge life saver but are represented by some people as some sort of evil thing that has randomly been imposed upon us.

The overwhelming sentiment that I see from anti-vaxxers is that they simply don’t like being told what to do, or told what they can’t do (lockdown restrictions etc).

Extremists? An interesting label.

They were protesting against vaccine mandates. Is it illegal to have a different opinion and to decide what gets injected into your body?

At an earlier protest Trudeau said he identified with their anger and frustration and that "we must meet that anger with compassion".

The compassion, if there ever was any, was quickly replaced with contempt by labelling them misogynists and racists.

How can it be 'solely because it is there (sic) right to do so' when you're replying to a post that said their issue with the vaccines was the side effects?

Easy to say when you or someone close isn't dealing with the side effects.

I agree it's a judgement call and I agree slot of people just don't want it because there told they have to have it. But there are a few out there that have legitimate concerns hun"

Yes there are some who have legitimate concerns. And just heart goes out to anyone who has had serious side effects to the vaccine .. thought they were doing the right thing and ended up worse off; that’s tragic. But the vast majority of anti-vaxxers are just raging against the machine, and the net effect of vaccines is massively positive, saving huge numbers of lives.

Thankfully, the anti-vax movement is becoming less relevant every day as vast numbers of vaccines are being deployed. Hopefully we can quickly get to the stage where 90%+ of adults have had their booster and we can start to see relaxation and removal of restrictions again.

What we are also seeing is that to stay in the news, the anti-vax lot are becoming more disruptive and violent. The Milton Keynes effort was a disgrace. I hope the people involved are prosecuted.

As I said, most people have had the booster: over 30 million. Over 60 per cent of people over 12 in my borough have had the booster, and the stars are higher if you just look at adults. That’s “most” people, isn’t it? The majority?

Nowhere near “all”, of course, but 60 per cent in such a short space of time is remarkable.

In fact, what kind of person does that?

He should have stayed on-topic, spelling out how reckless it is to not get vaccinated "

He was on topic, the ops post mentioned a quote we’re racism was brought up and he responded to that!!!

We were never told that the first 2 jabs would last us our entire lifetime. Same with flu jabs. New variants come out every year and people need another jab, the one they had 5 years ago is not. Going to protect them against this year’s strains.

So no, we were not “lied to”. The first 2 drove down infection rates and death rates, and we now need boosters to top up protection.

51 per cent would be “most”.

60 per cent is definitely “most”.

And the stats for adults are higher.

Look at it the other way around. Would you say that most people have not had the booster? 40 per cent is “most” is it?

If you had had the vax then there would have been less chance of you getting covid, less chances of you passing it on to others, and your experience of covid may have been milder.

40% is nearly half and 60% is just over half,id say 90% would meen most, like i said it time for people to do whats best for them,if that meens more jabs go for it,im stopping at three as i think if three dont do it 4,5 or6 aint gona make any difference and if you dont want any then thats peoples right to not take em or would you prefer those who dont do as there told should be carted of to camps for the greater good

51 per cent is “most”. More than half is “most”. Or we could just use the word “majority” instead. The majority of people have and the booster.

Boosters will be an ongoing requirement if people are to be protected, until such time that need immunity kicks in. Is that your preference? Herd immunity?

If you don’t want to get any more jabs, that is entirely your decision, of course, but you are doing so knowing that you are making yourself more vulnerable to catching covid, more likely to pass it on the others, and more likely to suffer severe effects from the virus if you catch it. Completely your choose to do that, but your choice does affect others.

No, I don’t advocate carting people off to camps. I advocate people getting vaccinated.

When we have a referendum, 50.01 per cent is “a majority”, which means the same as “most”. In a referendum, 60 per cent or more would be seen as a landslide.

So unnecessary. saw something on the news that said the majority in hospital wasnt fully vaccinated not unvaccinated, unless you have had both and a booster then you aint fully jabbed, like most people i know are now not fully vaxxed

Most people have had the booster. really most people eh i the only one at work whos had booster everyone wants there jab on a weekend so wont book during week and weekend appointments are booked up round here, and as for most have had there boosters now just before xmas the were saying still a million over 60s hadnt been boosterd yet, have a 30 year old daughter and most she knows aint even bothering with a booster they of the opinion they got the two they were told would get things back to normal and now think they were lied to wich in a way we all were

We were never told that the first 2 jabs would last us our entire lifetime. Same with flu jabs. New variants come out every year and people need another jab, the one they had 5 years ago is not. Going to protect them against this year’s strains.

So no, we were not “lied to”. The first 2 drove down infection rates and death rates, and we now need boosters to top up protection. erm get your two jabs to get back to normal was the message given if i remember at the begining of 2021 and most people done that, now its get a booster or your not fully vaxxed, ive had two jabs and a booster but wont be taking anymore does that make me a tin foil hat wearing anti vaxxer? Its time for people to do whats best for them, heres an idea if those who are terrified of catching it would like to lock themselves away and let everyone else who wants to get on with living there life go about the buisness without people trying to shame them,if u want to keep getting jabbed go for it if you dont want more than three thats all good to and if you dont want any again that is each persons choice and fuck all to do with the hollier than thou

Well said I’ve had none does that make me an anti Vaxer… no it does not I am pro choice … i have also hAd it …. It was the flu with a cough … 10 days to get over it with paracetamol and fluids … must admit 2 months later I still have the bloody cough

If you had had the vax then there would have been less chance of you getting covid, less chances of you passing it on to others, and your experience of covid may have been milder.

I don’t think so the majority of people who now have it are double jabbed ha ha …. And I never passed it on I was in isolation …. "

I didn’t say that you passed it on. I said that having the jab reduces the chances of you passing it on to others. You are more likely to get it if you aren’t jabbed, you may show no symptoms, and unknowingly pass it on to others.

I am very healthy and quite fit, thankfully, and chances are, I’d get a mild dose if I catch it. But that’s not really why I got it ... that was more about protecting others that I care about, and so that I can travel. I wouldn’t have been able to visit my family if I had not been vaccinated, for example.

"Anyone !!

The majority of people in ICU have not been double or triple jabbed. These figures are freely available

Canada does have an history of segregation and cultural

genocide, look at the residential schools program mass graves of unidentified bodies.

Are you referring to the source of the French Canadian news interview, or the blackface quote?

I suspect he's referring to the French Canadian news interview...

But this is how anti-vaxxers work ... spreading unsubstantiated lies to create uncertainty

Indeed but I’m pretty sure there are no rules on here that state everything you post must be fact (most profiles would be banned!)

So knowing the terms when you sign up you shouldn’t possibly think or expect that what you read on the forums has been (or should be truth.

Why? To spread uncertainty and further this ie own agenda "

Did I say that? Is the OP knowingly spreading lies? You’ve twisted what the OP has posted and what I’ve said to give your comment credibility.

The OP did not post anything as being FACT.

I’m saying people have the right to post something that they’ve heard, read, seen or just believe without having to scour hundreds of sources to demonstrate to you that’s it’s fact.

If your naive enough to take what someone says in a forum as gospel then that’s your own problem. Do your own fact checking lazy!!
