4th booster

Delph

Had my spring booster this week.

Previous 3 were the pfeieser vaccine no adverse effects, other than sore arm

This time it was the Moderns vaccine.

Terrible side effects, couldn't sleep, shaking, wet through with sweat, splitting headache.

Thankfully the symptoms eased yesterday and now ok.

Has anyone else suffered with the Moderna vaccine? .

I haven't had Moderna but I've heard that the short term side effect profile is worse than others.

The good news is that it's slightly more effective than even Pfizer.

I know some people who qualified for it as over 75 and I believe they had the modena and said the same.

I had my 4th jab yesterday, after 3 previous Pfizer vaccinations my 4th was a Moderna, 24 hrs on I have had no reactions whatsoever unlike a couple of friends who have been really unwell having had the Moderna.

I was surprised at the variety of different ages getting the Vaccine, I qualified on the basis of being over 80 but there were people in their 30s and 40s receiving the vaccine.

according to the bbc at least one of you should be in an ICU bed proclaiming to the local journalist with your last breath that you regret the decision and wish you had taken the jabs but alas it’s too late - and the guilt you feel inside as your about to meet your maker knowing that you have recklessly and selfishly placed others in serious harm by not taking the jabs….all because you didn’t do what you were asked

I've had zero vaccines, caught covid & have been absolutely tickety-f*cking-boo.

I'm so glad the number of patients I see on a daily basis are now not passing away without their families at their sides or others not passing away but having life changing conditions.

You may find it a jovial matter but for me I really hope the last 2 years will never repeat themselves, it's been the most stressful, fearful time in all my career.

I so happy for all those who kept well, those who suffered mild symptoms.

I've never felt either taking or refusing the vaccine has ever been a pissing contest but a matter of informed choice.

You are all old and ugly enough to make your own decisions apart from children, plenty of them on here.

Stay healthy, stay kind and this year and every future year try your best to be a better person.

The numbers speak for themselves. Those who wanted more deaths, a greater impact on society, the economy, the NHS, increaseed health waiting lists, more people becoming disabled long term, restrictions and lockdowns to have had to be for longer, would push for no use of the vaccines that have stopped much of that for us all. It's a no-brainer.

Maybe think of it this way.

Have vaccines, not just covid vaccine but all vaccine been a help or a hindrance to global healthcare.

Brings the conversation to a grinding halt.

Had our 4ths. Sore arm and a bit lethargic for a few days. Spoke to nurse and they are discussing autumn 5th boosters at the hospital, which makes sense as the pattern seem to be 6 months protection before it tails off. No big deal, compared to the alternative outcome if we were to catch covid.

"Forced to publish"?

It was always available, as have side effects for all Covid vaccines and all medicines.

You must find Ibuprofen terrifying then:

"Ibuprofen affects everyone differently, based on:

size, weight and health

whether the person is used to taking it

whether other drugs are taken around the same time

the amount taken.

Side effects

The most common side effects of ibuprofen are:

headache

dizziness

drowsiness, fatigue and restless sleep

thirst and sweating

tingling or numbness in hands and feet

ringing in the ears

blurred vision and eye irritation

fluid retention and ankle swelling

mild allergic reaction

abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, heartburn, diarrhoea and constipation

bladder irritation and pain, frequent urination.

Ibuprofen can increase the risk of heart attack or stroke in people with or without heart disease or the risk factors for heart disease."

Well, quite. You either accept that there are some small risks with all medicines and take them or you take nothing.

The fact that the list of side effects of a particular Covid vaccine is so "scary" is meaningless if ibuprofen is much the same but you take that without any thought.

And why you have the information available when you buy them? So you can make informed consent? Just kidding! Who fucking cares?!

Well, quite. You either accept that there are some small risks with all medicines and take them or you take nothing.

The fact that the list of side effects of a particular Covid vaccine is so "scary" is meaningless if ibuprofen is much the same but you take that without any thought.

It sounds like you're the one who does things without much thought "

Non-sensical statement. On your own with that one

Then out of a population of 68 million that's all the information that you need.

It's also "obvious" that the vaccines did not reduce the severity of the illness that they suffered because, you know, "obvious".

All the people who died or seriously ill or have long Covid mist be confused and the exhausted medical staff just slackers.

Good that you spotted it. Thanks

I'm a jab free and will continue to be. Wasn't sick for 2&half years until a few weeks ago I had cold, flu symptoms. I will continue to be jab free along with my children. I have an immune system that will and has fought covid and it won!

I have had the 4th jab like all the jabs only reaction I have had was a sore arm.

I did get covid last year though it was mild. Like having a mild version of the flu so I guess the jabs did it job

That's great to hear. The only people now going into ITU is people that haven't been jabbed, with a few exceptions of people with other health issues.

"We haven't had any and we've never been ill. We are very happy with that. Xaccording to the bbc at least one of you should be in an ICU bed proclaiming to the local journalist with your last breath that you regret the decision and wish you had taken the jabs but alas it’s too late - and the guilt you feel inside as your about to meet your maker knowing that you have recklessly and selfishly placed others in serious harm by not taking the jabs….all because you didn’t do what you were asked

"Stay healthy, stay kind and this year and every future year try your best to be a better person."

I think it's obvious that the side effects for ibuprofen are nowhere near as dangerous as the covid vaccines.

"I think it's obvious that the side effects for ibuprofen are nowhere near as dangerous as the covid vaccines."

It's a simple comparison/measure;

what are the side effects of paracetamol?

Whatever are the side effects of the Covid vaccines.

I've looked into both and know which one looks preferable to me.

I’ve had two jabs and one booster, ages ago.

I do the ONS testing programme including a blood test. I’m still testing positive for antibodies at a high level.

I’m not going to risk feeling like crap for a week like several of my friends and family did after the 4th jab, especially when people often aren’t showing symptoms when they get the virus.

Just my opinion, I don’t want ‘armchair experts’ explaining why they think I’m stupid.

You sound pretty sensible to me. And people like yourself aren't talked about getting a 4th jab anytime soon. I presume if you and people like yourself started to get a drop in antibodies level a year or 2s time you would consider another booster at the time.

Swear down, people really should do their own due diligence. The research has been out a while now (since pharma lost the bid to seal it for 75yrs,seems legit).

Unless you're old or on your death bed, just make healthy choices.....

If covid is so dangerous why are so many mps, not only party hardy, but STILL morbidly obese?! It's a valid question.

The research was published openly late in 2020, many of the other observations are also openly available and are ongoing.

Unless you mean "the stuff the crankawhackadoodles don't understand and are screaming blue bloody murder about". Fraudsters are gonna fraud, people are going to believe them. *shrug*

Some people have tried to sell the idea of undoing the vaccines with snake venom remover.

It doesn't work, but it is/was a thing

"No jabs for us and we have still managed to travel. Thr 9 pages of trial side effects that Pfizer were forced to publish confirmed that we made a good decision."
it was the FDA who were ordered by the Judhe to make the documents from the Pfizer trial available; they initially said they could release them in 75 years time as they didn’t have enough people working ! The judge ordered them to make the Pfizer documents available; the first batch of documents were harrowing to say the least. God only knows How that jab was ever approved. More data from the trials will be released over the coming months to meet the judges deadline but I can see why they requested 75 years as they wanted to cover it up. Strange how the BBC never reported in such an important factual story ??

Maybe the BBC didn't report on it because it wasn't a factual story.

it’s factual alright Winston; the official data from the Pfizer trials - it’s not surprising that the FDA wanted to keep such shocking findings hidden for 75 years. The data is exceptionally embarrassing; your probably better off not knowing as the damage is already done I’m afraid

Who "buys" the bbc ? No where is completely unbiased. Do you think all these anti vax places are unbiased? Why are a lot of these paid for russia? Why are most of the social media anti vax bot farms based in russia? The bbc tries to be none biased, impossible to achieve but at least it tries.
