Are you getting right on the tonsils and are you blowing your nose before swabbing.? I would still go with the positive... Unfortunately it is near impossible to get a PCR now... |

The government guidelines are: "try to stay at home and avoid contact with other people for 5 days." it is just no longer mandatory.

Not what lots of companies are saying. Had rotten cold recently did test which was negative told my boss this and was told it doesn’t matter you can come to work any way |

It doesn't matter what "lots of companies are saying", that doesn't change the Government's guidance. The important word here though is "guidance", unlike previously when it was a legal requirement, now it's just what they suggest would be the best course of action.

That doesn't mean it tests positive just that the acidity corrupts the test.
Hence you shouldn't perform a test when you have just eaten or d*unk anything |
