Always had a tight one, went to the doctors in my 30's fully expecting them to want to whip the old five-skin off but ended up with a Frenuloplasty which seemed to do the business.
Slight discomfort for a week after and then a wang I'm very happy with.

Straight forward operation I had it done while fully awake
Keep it dry for the first day or so then start to shower as normal but with caution
Six weeks or so you will be back in action again
I had it done for the same reason and wish I had done it much sooner
Love how it looks and sex feels better

Beware of hard ins while the stitches are in…. Ouch! Morning wood was a killer for me when I had it done. But as others have said, it can be the best thing after having a tight foreskin. Recovery was about 5-6 weeks |

I had mine done privately nearly 2 years ago after an NHS frenuplasty made things worse for me.
Healing times depend on how bad your issues are, surgery method and aftercare.

Get yourself circumcised high and tight with the frenulum removed. After the scar has closed, bathe in lightly salted warm water to help healing. Your glans will be very sensitive for a while but try not to erect as this pull on the stitches. A local anaesthetic is sufficient as a pain killer. |

Take a week off to rest after. Think about trimming or shaving your pubic area before circumcision and invest in some loose underwear. You'll be walking like a duck 🦆 for a while! |

I was done with glue and stitches which for me was the best balance of healing and scar prevention but relied on my surgeons skill. I was back into work the next day with just the biggest paracetamol to keep me going. I had planned it around when I was on a classroom based course verses my usual day job.
Don't need lube for sex or wanking but did do before due to issues. Maybe some saliva while it gets warmed up but it's fine |

I was partially Circumcised as a kid. Maybe like 8/9 (I can't quite remember) as my foreskin was too tight for my head.

Mine was done in my 40's but they cut so much off it left nothing to pull back on , also they put normal stiches instead of dissolving ones which the skin scarred around and was agony, few weeks later still agony so went to hospital where they said oops our fault but then had to pull them out through the scarring xx |

If there's a medical need you can and waiting lists vary. There's various styles that you can have and affects how it looks, the sensitivity and how it functions.
There's a couple of private surgeons in London and Birmingham than do it for 700-800 quid. You can choose the time and style you want instead of potentially getting the one the NHS surgeon does by default |

I had mine done when I was only about 7 years old, for emergency medical reasons. So I’ve never experienced anything else but recovery involved painful dressing removal, a scabby bellend and a special piece of advice to use a margarine tub over it when you’re wearing trousers to stop it rubbing against the fabric. Expect a sensitive daily time!! |

Had mine done last year,aged 56,as my foreskin had become painfully tight arfter splitting it and it healing badly
It's more irritating than painful the healing process,two weeks before you can wash it,but after that the stitches start to dissolve a lot quicker. Two months before you can have sex.
I don't regret it and wish I had it done years ago

I had mine done for the same reasons in about 2013 on the NHS.
There is pain as it heals (particularly with nocturnal spontaneous erections - one which must have split a stitch as the sheet was like I'd been attacked by a shark in the night).
But I didn't need any strong painkillers and the results were absolutely fantastic visually and in terms of sensitivity.
Only downside was it just didn't add an inch |

Will be sensitive/ uncomfortable at first. Skin will thicken and comfort in clothes will return
Your knob will be easier to keep clean less smelly at times and you will last longer in sex due to thicker skin on glans meaningless sensitive

The doctor said I might lose sensitivity when having sex or oral but honestly the best thing I've ever done!
Took max 4 weeks to heal. I bathes and cleaned mine in a warm salt water solution twice a day and it really helped the healing process.
The worse thing about it was the painful night time elections!! |

The odd thing was I used to wear tight pants and/or jeans to stop it scr*ping against clothing. It took a few weeks is believe but apart from the scr*ping dilemma it wasnt too much of an issue. Just need a little patience but it will be worth it |

To be fair I was three when I had to have it done medically.
A LOT of girls prefer it and its far easier to keep "tended".
Also its supposedly more sensitive, but I was three at the time so I wouldn't know the other side of that coin.  |

I was circumcised in February this year due to Phimosis.
I was glad to get it done and the recovery period was drama free, although my dogs didn’t seem to care and still jumped all over me!

What you have is called phimosis. Depending on how bad it is, it could be solved with cream that loosens your foreskin. Do not request surgery, all surgery carries a risk. See if you can sort it out non-surgically first. I had it as a child, and the doctors whipped my fore skin off rather too quickly (IMO). I like the cleanliness, but do feel like it’s a bit of genital mutilation too. |

Had mine done in early 20's
So over 30 years ago not sure if technology has changed at all.
But:
The first couple of days after pretty painful, especially as it's hyper sensitive and swollen even getting very slightly hard was agony,as it heals it improves but what called the " crown of thorns" kick's in.
The stitches when dry dig in and feel like your helmet is wrapped up in barbed wire.
Once allowed I bathed regularly and in fact removed the stitches myself in the bath( I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS)
but they had come undone and started hanging out anyway.
Once the stitches are out recovery is pretty quick.
I was really nervous when I had my first wank in my head my helmet was going to come off 
But needs must and blue ball's had set in.
Everything was good within six weeks. |

I had to have a circumcision after an incident with my ex wife. To cut a story short (pardon the pun), there was a lot of blood. Best thing i ever did was get a Circumcision. Yes it takes about 6 weeks to fully heal but after that it is a great feeling. |

Had mine done a couple of years ago (elective). Tight fs wasn't the issue but had developed BXO due to an underlying immuno issue.
I had some internal stitches hing (fuck knows why or how) so took a good six weeks to heal up and a good couple of months in total before I got used to the sensation. But it is WAY better. Feels better, and way more confident in sex because of it. Also, oral feels immense compared to before.
Wish I had done it earlier in life despite having no reason too. Just my personal experience though. |

My friend had his done at near 50 for the same reason. Gutted he didn’t have it done as a teen ( if I’m allowed to say it ). Best thing ever he said.

I developed a tight foreskin a year ago, phimosis they called it.
I tried sorts of creams and stretching things.
A month ago I tried Egyptian Magic skin cream.
I applied it liberally, pulling the foreskin back as much as possible and rubbing the cream around the glans.
A month later after retracting as far as possible each day I can now fully drawback with no pain.
I apply each night before bed, throw one off to rub it in.
Beats surgery.
