I'm sure it was much more pleasurable being ill when a youngster ?

Being kept off school,no worries about work, laid out on sofa, daytime telly, bowls of hot soup

It's no fun being ill as an adult. It's not much fun as a kid but at least you don't have responsibilities

And a bottle of lucozade as a treat. With the orange paper over the top x

No amount of Lucozade helps me now. I'm sure being ill was more comfortable as a child.

Arh yes when it was seen as 'medicinal' than a 'sports'nutrition, and even the old stuff in glass bottle tastes better than my cocktail of current meds

I'm chronically unwell at the moment. Being ill was definitely more enjoyable when I was younger, but, the steady supply of really lovely nurses at the hospital helps.

Can't say I ever enjoyed being ill as a child, invariably id have the same dream/nightmare of a never ending tennis rally - I think that's why I don't especially like watching tennis

Can't say I find illness in myself or others is, at anytime pleasurable, be it young or old.

Being ill is shit and to avoided at all costs.

Sarcoidosis that seems to have mutated into neurosarcoidosis here. I feel your pain.
