Been ill for over two weeks now. No sense of smell. Prolonged cough. Feeling shit. Is Covid still a thing these days? Seems so much about.

You can still get tests for it, which could help you to identify what is causing your illness. Places like Superdrug sell them.

It's typically had greater opportunities to spread faster, once people come together in higher numbers, at the end of the summer.

If you have it, then it's helpful to monitor for long Covid symptoms too.

Hope you get to feel better soon

Perpignan and cap

Similar, unshakable cough, lethargic. On the bright side it's taken my mind off those open sores on my ball sac.

Yes COVID is still about. It's not going to go away.

Like any other viral illness it'll affect some people worse than others

Same. I think anyone who has had genuine influenza not the heavy cold that lots of people believe it to be, will be keen not to get it again.

If Covid had killed your ex partner leaving our kids without a mum, and you had been hospitalised with Covid pneumonia 3 weeks later like I was you would realise it was not flu. You calling vaccinated people sheep is insulting to say the least

Flu never took away your sense of smell.

COVID is real.

It's here to stay.

Flu and heavy colds always take away my sense of smell. Usually it’s the blocked nose that does it.

I’m not sure whether it’s this superflu or a crap covid, but I’ve had this stupid cough and sore throat for over a month now.

And no, it’s not a chest infection.

And yes it is viral.
