Hi, inspired by another thread.

If you have a hidden illness or disability, do you disclose this on meets/fab?

If you do, why?

And if you choose not to, why?

Hiding

When I was meeting, I would disclose even though my disability is not that hidden. I have dodgy hips and I broke my knee a few years ago, so certain positions are a no-go. I just wouldn't want them to expect to be able to have me in any position they could dream of, or for me to go on top.

I am now also type 2 diabetic but as I am not at risk of hypos, I wouldn't necessarily disclose that. Especially as I only meet new people in clubs currently, by chance.

Well it's not a disability but i do have pectus excavatum and it's why i don't show my chest fully in pics... always upfront in private messaging about it. It's definitely more a 'me' issue as it's never affected people being interested in me luckily... it helps that the rest of me is in ok shape i guess 😅.

I lost a breast to breast cancer a few years ago. Not everyone knows it, so I do disclose it in advance as I wouldn't want to be treated any different just because I have one boob.

Yeah, because I’m not ashamed of it, I have it on my profile and when people send me pictures or videos, it’s pointless so tried to let them know but unfortunately that ends the chat sometimes

Once I met a guy who was missing a leg. Didn't told me about his prosthetic leg and I was a bit surprised.... but we had sex, I always wanted to try it 😁

I have a hidden disability.

But being massively flexible is often seen as an advantage.

My issue has kept us from taking the plunge this far, I think I've told one person after clicking via messages and they were weirded out (understandable), it scared me off a little so still in the fantasy stage though we've been on here ages 🙈

Would have to be someone patient and understanding we can build a rapport with but most just want a quick meet on here. Maybe it's not the right site for us. 😂

I have a hidden chronic issue it can be classed as a disability but it doesnt affect me too much unless I'm in a flare, which is quite rare now. I'm typically very stable so I don't disclose it unless it comes up in conversation.

It’s all about getting to know each other ahead is any meets I like to make sure the women I meet are completely comfortable with me and so I’m a bit chatty and love to hear about people x

This is really interesting. I have a hidden disability that I do not disclose (mainly because of stigma).

However, I also have severe asthma which I do disclose mainly because I get out of breath easily and am quite prone to attacks if someone smokes or actually just out of the blue. I once went to a meet and they'd filled the room with incense so I had to leave, would have been awkward if I hadn't been upfront about my asthma.

Thank you for all your replies!

I'm disabled perfectly normal and everything works . I don't broadcast it as each to there own

Sometimes it can be like writing a questionnaire like can U have sex can U walk . Do you need tablets ect

But all part of the dance and a fairly confident lad

So I can see why

And they will have to find out eventually

What grabs me is that they used incense in their room knowing that you had asthma. What were they thinking !

Yep! Although to be fair a hell of a lot of people don't understand asthma let alone severe asthma! No hard feelings towards the person though

Personally whilst I think most will have hidden or not health problems unless it was something that hindered the meet and enjoyment then no as if for example there are more than a couple of meets with same person then if I felt at ease then maybe touch on it.

Near Birmingham.

I don't have a disability but I can't ejaculate and always tell people this as a lot of people enjoy cum and I can't supply that.

We would disclose any conditions that might affect a meet, or be a surprise, e.g. Disco Balls has had a prostatectomy so has dry orgasms. It may or may not affect a meet, but it gives others a chance to decide if it's a deal breaker or not. We don't see it as being anything different to being up front about preferences l, e.g. not doing anal or separate room swaps they can decide. If someone didn't want to meet because of a disability, they wouldn't be the kind of people that we'd want to meet, so being upfront can be a useful filter.
