STD Testing Identity on results?

Curious- I recently had a test by my local NHS service, went in got a card as I always do with a reference number the viruses I'd been tested for.
Few days later I get the texts through. Sender says CLCH which google tells me provides the service for herts and west london residents.
Doesn't say anything other than the viruses and negatives.
Passed this along to a member on here who was arranging a meet which we'd discussed having following the all clear, but I was told sorry it doesn't have a name on the screenshots.
Just curious- does anyone elses local health service provide their name when they get the all clear? I've never paid for a private test on harley street and the like which was maybe what they were expecting. |

We use ICash and they give you a log into a portal that upon log in shows your name and your patient number, you then click through to the test results on a different page which shows the id number and negative or positive. We could screen shot both pages to potentially show to someone and offer on a meet before any play that we will log in and show the portal as anyone could screen shot one page with their name and then a different page entirely with the results that might not be from their log in etc.
Hope this helps ? |

I'm not advocating not getting regular tests because everyone should.
But people asking for proof before a meet is abit daft for many reasons.
For instance, some STI arent detectable until it's at certain stage.
Not only that, anyone can go on grok or whatever AI software and have it change the results to whatever you want. So unless your gonna get them to log into the app when you meet, to check. It's pointless.
And whose to say that their real details anyways.
Just my thoughts. Mr Sweet. |

I test via Sh.uk.
I log in to see my test results and I can generate a link to share them. It includes the name I gave the service, when the test was run and the results for each thing they tested for. |

"I just get a text saying everything is clear, no names, nothing about what was tested for"
Same from the NHS clinic I use, and it comes from a generic mobile phone number too, so nothing to identify it as ‘genuine’…..
I have sent pics of the pee sample bottle and the little plaster they cover your blood sample pinprick with, to help validate the check up…..😁 |

My local service issues a 'clear' or negative result response. No names used, nor list of what's tested for. It would cost them money to improve it, which is probably not as effective as developing other thing. It's somewhat anonymous and likely helpful,if other people got to see your texts. |

Yes I was recently tested and received a text message from nhs clinic giving results. When I enquired about obtaining a written confirmation I was told I would have to provide written proof of identity before they could confirm results in writing to me.
Difficult to do when using a pseudonym identity as I did at the clinic.
I guess there has to be a certain degree of trust between Fabbers when sharing results, although if anyone has any ideas I’d be grateful.
Thanks all |

Try using SHL or iCash. Both will give you links to your results on their portals with your name included. SHL even give you a sharing link.
I also use the Zults app which you can share with partners. |

I use SHW and all I got was a text "Canlyniad pob prawf yn negatif - dim haint
All test results negative - no infection". But can prove it's me as it's sent to my personal mobile number. If I signed up for an account, might feel more detailed then.

Hi, I had a rather troublesome time of my life (it's better now) when I was, well, doing silly things and I've ended uo going to the NHS std Clinic 9 times in a year - and now a doctor working there has decided that they don't want to influence my bad lifestyle choices and they claim they refuse to check me any more (so far all checks were negative) :O
Has anyone been in a similar situation? |

When I got my last ones done the message the results page did not have my name on. I don't mind sharing my results but would not be giving someone from here my full name anyway so if they were not happy with what I sent them we wouldn't be meeting. |

STI tests as "proof" are as pointless as DBS checks are.
All they mean is that noone has caught you killing people and hiding their bodies.
(DBS not STI!)
You can catch an STI 10 mins after getting a clear test. |

I got a resent test result and it didn’t show my name so it is quite difficult to show as proof of being clear of anything, because it could be anyone’s test results, unless you actually show them in person in the email from the clinic or on the clinic log on page |

As explained by a previous poster a clear result is totally meaningless. All it tells anyone is you were clear at the time you had the test. By the time you get the results you could theoretically have picked up anything. You only have someone's word they haven't been with anyone else after testing. Basically you either trust the person or you don't. Seeing their name doesn't make it any safer. |

The service in Glasgow gives you a yellow slip with a code on it, and a phone number to call.
When it's time to check if your results are in, you call the phone number, an automated voice asks you to key in your unique code, and the voice tells you the results. |

What I don’t understand about the situation you just mentioned is that for women it doesn’t make much difference to our pleasure but it does for the men so I don’t understand why it was refused?! 4 guys bareback in one night carries a very high risk of her getting something. Am I missing something on why people want full names now? It's a while since I've met but what is the deal with that? If I got to know someones first name it was a bonus, otherwise all they were known by was their fab name.
As others have said, tests are as good as their users. Some you have to wait maybe 10 days for certain results so if you're having sex within those test days, your results count for nothing really.
It seems people are more and more reliant on paying for tests and waving bits of paper around, rather than trust, honestly and responsibility. It was a matter of asking 'have you been tested' if you didn't like the answer it was up to you what you did next.

This -Also, to my mind someone's test status is analogous to the results an MOT test on a car; on that particular day whatever STI tests happened to be negative, doesn't mean there can't be something unpleasant today |

Precisely this.
If someone wants all that information and cannot work out my reliability, trustworthiness and intelligence from messages or conversation, then I cannot help it and I will not meet them.
Not the end of the world.
I wonder how they cope in clubs as I have rarely heard any conversations in my experiences in that environment. |

From what I've understood in the past, the fantasy aspect of the scenario must be a part of it.
Sometimes from their partner and not themselves I think too.

It's very simple really.
If testing is important to you, before a meet you need to ask a playmate two questions:
(A) When did you last test clean?
(B) Have you been with noone since?
It's then your decision whether to trust them or not.
Ultimately this whole site is built on trust, rocking up to a hotel or dogging spot to meet an internet random stranger always involves risk and trust (altho I find veris on here very helpful) |

A lot of people seem to be very turned on by doing things that they think of as "naughty". So it's possible that she finds bareback more arrousing.
People are weird... |

How can it be proved, the simple answer is it can't, there are a number of scammers.
But...is all we have is regular testing and the results of your chosen service, personally and professionally an NHS service with log in with your details and photo id was required, of course either is only as good as your last test date and not all are testable.
So every time you have any sexual contact, even protected runs risks. |

100% agree here. People can show tests that are negative (because they were taken before detectable etc).
My rule is generally safe sex as much as possible. Or add prep and doxy (although the research is split on whether using doxy as a protection is good). |

Sh.Uk do, you can send your results to friends.. I work in Sexual health .. just to put it out there we are seeing an explosion of infections especially syphillis, chlamydia and Gonorrhoea. This especially amongst straight/BI and ethnic minorities a huge surge in Eastern European Pakistanis/ Asian communities and recent influx of migrants untested has rocketed .. so can i ask everyone on here to get a full sexual health screening whether it be a free self testing kit or NHS clinic .. so many people on here are getting re infected because partners aren’t being screened .. we are starting to see an increase in drug resistant strains of Gonorrhoea.. most sti have a lag time of 4 weeks 4 weeks hiv and syphillis takes up to 3 months to get a reactive test … we are seeing neurological syphills in patients with primary infections which is very worrying.. Remember ., most infections are easily treated with antibiotics and certain vaccines and doxycycline prep and hiv prep have had a significant impact in the gay community in cutting infections .. so please everyone get checked asap and tell your sexual partners too
Kind regards
Ps most infections are asymptomatic meaning they won’t show symptoms |

That's what I've always got over the years.
Only time I got something different was when I received a call to tell me I didn't need to take a booster for Hep B as was travelling to a country that required it on my Yellow Card.
So went in to get an additional stamp/signature on the yellow card before the trip. |

The only safe sex is no sex.
You could even contract something from a partner you believe to be monogamous if they secretly cheat!
Having sex with someone is a risk. Unless you follow someone 24/7 you have no idea what they get up to.
Regular sexual health checks are essential for all of us.
Condoms where possible too.
Remember you can contract stuff in your throat as well as your genitals and rectum.
As others have said, it can take weeks for an infection to show as positive from the incident of infection. (2 weeks for chlamydia and gonorrhea!)
Also, showing a text or letter of all clear just means you tested clear at that point it doesn't mean that person hasn't contracted something since.
If you never want to contract an sti, then you have to avoid sex with everyone, but that would be like avoiding a car accident so never driving or getting in a car again lol.
Be sensible, be safe as possible and be regularly tested.
You can get prep to avoid HIV and Vaccines for hepatitis A and B. X |

My local NHS offers the same. It asks you to confirm tbe mobile number and id number for the results though. Then tells you the results per test.
It was a shock when they switched it from a text with results.
I wondered about this sort of thing myself. Guess its a bit hit and miss. |

With the NHS you don't have to give your name. And they never tell your doctor if you don't want. |

Zults really helps and they’ve expanded from just SHL, now they accept pdf from anywhere and use AI to verify it’s authentic. And I can hide my real name on the app once I’ve gone through their ID verification process. My Zults user name is “Valentina” and my husband is “Bonedaddy” if anyone wants to say hi and see our latest test result. |

Had my test last week and results are the same. You use an id number and you DOB to get results from an automated phone service.
Always wondered how people would free not having a text or email with the all clear. Told my friend this week, and he trusted my word, but it has been 6 years with us.

I’m shocked at how many people say tests are “pointless”. What a terrible attitude.
Who’s more likely to have an STI? Who would you be more comfortable being intimate with?
A) a person who is regularly tested and is negative for everything as of their last recent test.
B) a person who has never had an STI test.

Indeed, I agree entirely, only with the caveat
that clear test results only show that you are clear at the time of testing, but absolutely necessary, not just desirable, none the less.
People generally seem unaware of or at least careless of the number of STIs that you can pick up from oral sex too. |

Always worth getting tested, wait at least two weeks after having sex though as it takes that long for some to show up.
Getting tested isn’t pointless but people still lie which does render it pointless.
A few years ago from a dating app a woman told me she was tested and clean, so was I.
We used protection the first couple of times then once without. A week after that time she messaged me saying “the previous guy before you messaged saying he’s got chlamydia so I probably have it and given it to you” turns out she fucked some guy at butlins of all places unprotected… lied about getting tested and then yep gave it to me! Luckily it’s easy to get hold of the antibiotics and it’s gone in a week.
You just can’t trust people!
To answer OPs original question from ages ago, mine just come through as a text saying tested for X begative, tested for Y negative. No names or info about me |

Yes, people simply saying that they have been tested and are clear is pretty pointless, as you say. I just get my results on my Oxfordshire Sexual Health Service ‘account’ so can show them to people on my telephone - but like many I don’t use my real name on here so it shows my real (feminine) name not Jilly as on here. |

I don't know anyone who says that testing is pointless. People who died, or had lifelong disabilities, caused by what are now treatable infections but weren't historically, would have fought hard for the luxuries of tests and treatments, that we can now get free and readily.
How they would have despaired of anyone with that attitude. We also have more treatments that are preventative measures today. This is the golden age |
