Tbf, a lot of this advice actually does work. It's amazing what exercise - walking/weights/running, eating the right food- quality protein shake in the morning and cutting out processed food, drinking lots of water and getting 7-9 hours of sleep will do.

A trip to your GP is the best plan. ED is often a symptom of other conditions (diabetes , heart disease and low testosterone for example) so its best to get yourself checked out properly.

Improving your lifestyle with better diet and exercise is always going to be beneficial, but it won't necessarily fix the issue on its own.

Oh and the theory that ED is purely due to lack of desire is complete and utter bollocks.

Tell your doctor the blue pill gives you chronic indigestion or headaches and doesn't even work. Ask about Alprostadil aka caverject... But as others have said… life style changes help… better foods…better exercise….better sleep…

Get a check-up from the GP and work through your options. What works for one person may not for another.

Improving diet, and getting regular exercise helps, but if you've consistently been overweight and unhealthy through the years, you are likely to find that won't completely resolve the issue. Sadly, age is a fight we can't win.

All been said here. If you're serious about fixing it.

Visit your GP and have a full set of tests just to give you a starting point.

Make sure they check your mental health as well all the physicals like all bloods etc. If they aren't helpful go find a reliable online health check. You can often get promotion deals.

I'd highly recommend a therapist for a period of time to help you navigate your life style changes.

More healthy foods

No vapes or cigarettes

Water

Less alcohol

Exercise.

If you both believe ED only happens in relationships where the guy is tired of, or bored of their partner, you obviously have never experienced ED in a loving relationship. The OP needs to get a GP check up to rule out any underlying cause,or even a medical issue which might be exacerbated by ED pills.
