We should always be cautious about viruses potentially switching from animals to humans, possibly via mutations that change how infectious they are or how they spread.
I'm guessing that this one's connected to having high volumes of people in close proximity, potentially with rodents on the ship.
With so many diseases stuck in 1 group of animals but not humans and their abilities to mutate, there's a ready source of infections that could come out way |

Apparently it's been identified as the type that spreads among humans.
We should not be concerned because we can't do a damn thing about it and if we're all going to die horrible deaths we might as well enjoy ourselves worry free for a bit |

I understand they are trying to work out the source which may not be the ship as the incubation period can be long. It is widespread in Argentina and is closely associated with rodents. As for the 2020 pantomime, it should be a lesson to be vigilant cautious but sensible with precautions and pay attention to those that actually know not just those that have a platform. Generally if worried for good reason try 111 |

"One thing is certain.
The information about it is predomantly spread by people who have just read about it somewhere on line!
Good old Google click bait!"
And that friends is how discussion forums work 🤷♂️ |

We haven't had a corned beef scare for about 70 years.
That was more memorable than the Falklands invasion. |

More scaremongering by the MSM to divert us from the state of our countries. No. This is nonsense.
Ebola has a potential mortality rate of up to 90% but do we wet our knickers over it even though it's common in parts of the world? No, because the chance of contracting it in miniscule!
Same goes for the latest new virus being promoted for clicks and income.
We've all done the being scared of virus thing and most of us have realised that it was basically overly-reported influenza. |
