Any doctors or chiropractors on here that could help. I’m currently getting a lot of constant back ache at the moment. Apart from taking ibuprofen. Is there anything I can do or someone do to maybe trying a relieve so the ache and pain.

Many thank

I'm not a doctor or a chiropctor but I have a lot of experience with chronic back pain, we both do.

Include paracetamol with your ibuprofen if your pharmacist says it's safe to do so. Take gentle exercise and see a doctor if you can. Is it new, ongoing, the result of an injury? Do you know if it's muscular?

Had it about 2 weeks now, don’t know if it’s muscular. Just aches all over.

I’ve been having just ibuprofen for the past few days now. May have to introduce paracetamol too like you said.

Thank you for the advice

Had a nightmare experience with a chiropractor. Physiotherapist(private) fixed it... never came back. As above, use pain killers to allow you to do light excercise. Walking is very good! Its gona take a while.

From someone who found a remedy that works! Hope you get well soon...

I have suffered from back pain for years now most of my adult life and some of my teen years to...

I find laying flat helps, as do hot water bottles/deep heat patches, warm baths not hot warm. Not a huge fan of medication here. But when it's extremely bad I will take paracetamol and ibuprofen.

Only really useful if you include black pepper with it, helps the body absorb it

Central

Ice packs, including something like a bag of frozen peas, covered, should stimulate blood flow to the area.

What has your Doctor said about?

Heat/cold packs alternating.

Paracetamol and voltarol.

Get it checked by GP if it persists or you get any altered sensation.

If you can, walking can help it to free off if it’s a muscle spasm.

Ask your GP to prescribe Naproxen if appropriate. It's a wonder drug.
