I have diverticulitis and IBS.
Had them both years. It's hard work as what i have to do for one I have to do the opposite for the other. I can't eat bacon, meat sausages. Though am ok with Heck chicken sausages and vegi sausage. Dairy can effect me sometimes. I don't eat red meat.... started cutting it out my diet a few months ago. So far so good. Can't eat pork chops and I miss crackling lol. I can eat ham though. Not had fish and chips in nearly 2 years. Even chips with a meal out is a no for me . The airfryer has been a god send for me. Can't eat 3 meals a day. I find it easier to graze lol. Smaller meals. A banana can be a meal for me sometimes. Every day is different. A food diary is a good help bit you're struggling as can help pinpoint what sets you off. X |

"Recently been diagnosed with this after a pretty worrying few weeks.
Seems theres no food or drink I need to avoid but to keep hydrated.
Anyone else have this?"
My dad has this for decades and it blew up last year when it all ruptured his guts after my mum dying.
Poor guy ended up with stoma fitted for a year and has some issues still after removal. It reduced the condition a lot and he has to watch certain food groups that can flare him up |

My mum had this for years. Flare ups multiple times a year would put her in hospital for a couple of weeks at a time, she looked like she was 9 months pregnant with triplets with every flare up.
After her bowel was stretched multiple times it couldn't take any more & it burst. They operated on her, cleaned her out & fitted her with a stoma but it was too late. A few day's later she died from sepsis. Horrible disease
If you get the chance of a stoma bag at any point take it. |

I’ve had it for a long time fibre and vegetables I take Psyllium husk every morning with some wheat bran you need soluble and insoluble fibre it’s very painful keep moving and don’t lie down if it flares up. If you develop a fever during a flare up call an ambulance.
Good luck |

I've got it. But not bad at all.
Partner had it: One episode where we had to call an ambulance because the bathroom, looked like an abattoir. I'm sure the ambalance crew thought, I'd tried to murder her. Because I was acting weird, as I knew the 2 week holiday we were supposed to be going on 3 days later. Was dead in the water.
Don't eat tomatos. As the tomato seeds can block up the little dead ends an infected intestine produces and leads to complications. |

Kenny Omega or Brock Lesnar?
Kenny Omega
Are you an AEW fan, a WWE fan or both?"
Both but AEW is more my thing these days. WWE because I grew up watching it. |
