You'd have thought the Queen would have made a speach by now. Unless she's already at coffin o'clock and they are trying not to panic everyone.

Oh to late.

Rumour has it that Philip snuffed it a while back but they won’t declare it because:

a)The public outpouring of grief. (yeah, right!)

b) Not being able to give him a huge State funeral with millions of people lining the streets and 100s of world leaders in attendance.

c) No commemoration plates for the oldies to buy.

d) Trying to make this whole Prince Andrew thing blow over.

She is addressing the nation this week op. It’s only the fourth time she’s had to do it so far in her reign

That doesn't count I meant a televised speach like she does at Christmas about how we must pull together, think of others and not get involved in underaged sex scandals.

I shalt watch with bated breath.

Actually I won't as I don't watch TV if I'm honest.

I think Prince Philip would be great fun on a night out, great sense of humour,

Her speech writers have probably been busy writing shit for other people to say.

Plus they don't wanna give her inaccurate stuff to say which is tough when everybody we're supposed to be taking advice from seems to change their mind week to week

That one wasn’t good enough for the op he wants a televised one, she is doing one this week though but it’s irrelevant as he doesn’t watch tv anyway

Maybe it could be of comfort and reassuring to the older generation who are in isolation?

She'll be doing whatever she wants to. Off to her country estates or hanging around in groups of over 3.

Remember, she's above the law and owns all of us. Because she's better than us.

Kind words. It's the right thing to do.

Oh he’s not dead. This is the first time in months that the royal household has allowed him to drive. There’s no one else on the roads for him to hit.

She will in time im sure. Probably not the time yet.

When she does I'm sure people will criticize it too, lol.

Information is changing every day as people continue to ignore government advice, yet some information hasn't changed at all, just being more enforced because so many people can't think or act responsibly for the good of others.

Will it matter if it when she makes it OP or is this just another subtle anti-royal thread again.

You want a televised speech? Meaning she has to put herself around unnecessary film crew, assistants and all sorts when we're being officially told to isolate ourselves?

She's the figurehead of this country, you would expect her more than anyone to comply to protect herself

Well it’s just been announced that Prince Charles has tested positive.

BBC
"

The prince, 71, and his wife, the Duchess of Cornwall, 72, are self-isolating at Birkhall on the Balmoral Estate in Aberdeenshire.

A Palace statement said: "The tests were carried out by the NHS in Aberdeenshire where they met the criteria required for testing." "

So it’s ok for him to be tested when others are told to wait it out unless they get seriously worse. And... ok for them to run up to this part of Scotland when others in their Motorhomes are told to return home.

So do I, absolutely. I believe she would want to do it. She has devoted her life to public service. We are so fortunate to have our Royal Family. Proud to have them....!!

Even if I dont care much for them it's expected that she should acknowledge the nation as our Queen who I pay taxes to keep in luxury.
