today one of the best welsh rugby players of all time has died and i would just like to say it was him and jpr williams that first got me interested in rugby and made me a fan of wru when i was younger in the 70s

Still see jpr at the beach, still a big man. Hell of a rugby era.

A sad loss of a talented family man. He went everywhere with his 3 children watching them compete and supporting them through everything. So not only a fantastic player and athlete but a total gent and dedicated family man.

I was very sad to hear this. That Welsh team of the 70s was iconic and were a joy to watch as a little kid.
