How much of a walk from southerndown beach?

Is that the easiest way to get there?

"Hi, could someone please let me know best place to park and walk to the beach please, this sounds such a lovely place to visit. "

There are two ways to go. I've done both. One is a considerably long walk. The second is not a bad walk but quite scary ladders to climb down.

Depends on your reasons to go… if you are looking for a lovely beach to relax naked without very many passer bys and the chance to talk to like minded nudists then yes 100% worth it.

That's exactly what I'm looking for, always wanted to try a naturist beach. So the ladder option is the easiest route then? Thanks for all your responses

The Mrs and myself tried to go there today, but when we got to the steps and ladders we thought it was a little bit dangerous, passed 3 or 4 guys on the way.we had a little bit of fun alone in the 1st field.

How long is the walk from southerndown beach?

Not long but for the love of God check the tide times or you'll be using the ladders (or the RNLI)!

The ladders have been reinforced in the last year, when I walked the beach way it took over an hour but then I’m slow on the pebbles

Ahhh reminiscing having my shorts pulled down and being licked from behind while on those ladders. Very thrilling!

So, I can confirm the ladders are sturdy. ;-D

If you get a very low tide you can pretty much walk over sand. Ladders are fine though if you have a head for heights.

South/mid Wales A470

opposite the farm is a large field to park with an honesty box(£3),theres normally a few cars parked(dog walkers),then walk down the narrow lane, over the style, thru the trees, turn right at the beach, best to go at low tide

I saw that field but the gate was closed and there were some horses and farm vehicles in there.

Yeah, it's about 40mins walk from the car park. Our 1st time today and we had fun by ourselves, there were 2 guys sunbathing naked.

Will go again and hopefully others will be there

Was there last Tuesday on the hottest day , parked in field car park £3 box and walk down lane ect to beach . Then across rocks to sandy beach ..when tide is out . Head to far end of beach and get your kit off . Loved being naked and skinny dipping ..nice little camp site before car park ...if any fellow campers .

If this weather is in for the day I will be going 15% chance rain good odds temp 17-18 high tide around 10:30 sounds ideal.

Had two days of sun and nice all over tan . Make sure you check high tide times .

3 ways to get there 1..southerdown across rocks ...2 park lane across fields and down ladders...3 monknash beach car park £3 then follow land down through trees then at water's edge turn right ...when across all rocks sandy beach 1mile to end when bathe ..

Check tides times .
