XMAS NEWPORT SOCIAL SATURDAY 18TH DECEMBER

PART 3
The next Newport Social will be a Xmas one on Saturday 18th December
Xmas Fancy Dress Is Optional.
PLEASE DONT ADD YOUR NAMES IF YOU HAVE NO INTENTION OF ATTENDING.
ALSO PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU REMOVE YOUR FILTERS WHICH STOPS ME FROM MESSAGING YOU, OR PLEASE MESSAGE ME.
YOU MUST HAVE A FEW RECENT MEET VERIFICATIONS TO GET PUT ON THE LIST.
It's in a private function room, closed to the public.
it will run from 7.30-late
Entrance fee is £1.50 per person.
There will be a raffle and background music.
This is a social evening, and there will be NO PLAYING AT ALL on the premises, anyone found playing etc, will be asked to leave the premises and banned from future Newport Social's.
As this is a social event dress code is smart/casual dress.
Anyone wanting information on hotel's etc, please feel free to email me.
All detail's will be sent out a week before.

This social will go ahead no matter what lol
If the restrictions kick in the rule for us will be once your in the room you can’t leave the room and no smoking that night so no one from the outside world can come in to check if we are maintaining the restrictions lol |

I would highly recommend not listening to the word that's being spread at the moment about the current restrictions that are flying around.
No one knows anything until the announcement is made. There are currently 3.14M people living in Wales, and only 62 cases of Omicron. I highly think it'll be mostly "I recommend you do this, and I recommend you do that" to try and keep safe. Atleast I hope that's what he says!
But yeah, keep an open mind everyone, stay positive in mood and attitude, not in covid results aha  |

Also, if he makes an announcement Friday its highly unlikely it’ll be with immediate effect. Can’t just say close up shop right now. So even if restrictions are set out it’ll be from Monday or something surely? Can’t just spring that on businesses with no notice! |

We wont be. Absolutely pointless things. I had covid and lat flows said i was negative, i took one a day for a week all negative, had a positive pcr and lat flows still said negative. |

Did you have covid symptoms though? Lateral flows are meant only if you don’t have any symptoms x |

All I’ve heard this year is ‘we will be in lockdown soon’. A lot of this comes from very sketchy sources. We might well be ok it doesn’t look like England are doing anything like that (given they didn’t even want Covid passes). They know that people will go over the border to party if they impose stricter rules here. We will be out in any case |

It’s a stressful job trying to organise a social as I think you all know. This last week as been more than normal lol, not knowing if there was going to be one, fabbers messaging asking if I had any inclination at all, which was understandable as some of you have to arrange childcare, or need to book time off work. We been arranging these socials for about 11 years now and have got our regulars who always attend (unless something gets in the way)who we are pleased to say have become friends. I want to say a massive Thank you to Welshswinggers who help me at every social, but an even BIGGER THANK YOU TO EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOU Who attend and have had to put up with me (Mrs).
Also a MASSIVE THANK YOU to My Rock, Mr Kinky, without his support I couldn’t arrange half of the socials.
Anyway, see you all this evening, so let’s party and enjoy.

Very very appreciative of the kinkypair, as I told them at the Bridgend social without them my life wouldn't be as fun as it is.

Can we also praise Kinkypair for their efforts. The august social was Rose’s first, as soon as she woke up on the Sunday morning she said that it was very fun and she wanted to go again. We were away in October so this is the first one we have been able to attend since. We are in the Travelodge now and we can’t wait to have some drinks and get the night started! |

We appreciate how difficult the last couple of socials have been to organise with having to deal with the constantly changing guidance that COVID has delivered.
