By *ORDERMANMan  over a year ago

wrexham

Not so much favorite but can be classed as iconic for various reasons...

Wrexham.. horse and jockey..the thatched roof pub in town

The turf..birthplace of Wrexham fc

And once was only pub with a football league ground on its premises..

Llangollen..the cornmill..great location al8ng the river dee

Caernarfon..black boy

Nefyn..well to be precise porthdinllaen..the ty coch..one of the best beach bars ever..

Llanbedr..queen vic..what a beer garden

Precelli somewhere...tafarn zinc

Totally unique

Cardiff ...old arcade ..iconic rugby bar..

Obviously theres going to be others

"It used to be the Vulcan in Cardiff.

You'll have to visit St Fagan's when it reopens.

I love the Bunch of Grapes in Pontypridd. Great ales, good food, cosy atmosphere.

Aberdare

Aberdare can offer better than Spoons. The National Tap is Grey Trees Brewery's own pub. Nuff said. And the Whitcombe does a fine pint of Butty as well as being one of the few places to offer Thatchers Dry.

The Old Tavern at Llanerch-y-Mor.

Recently re-thatched roof and a window for lepers to be served through. What's not to like?

"Only iconic for thatch roof"

Correct.

And I fear / hope the whole area is shooting off on a different tangent.

The efforts being made are clear. Not quite convinced yet that Cheshire footballers wives will be patronising Abakhan any time soon.

The current duke of Lancaster is the queen..

It's one of the heredity titles for a monarch
