I think it's important to give respect to all.
Some plus size people (myself included) have body hang ups and try to keep out of the spotlight.

I think it's probably a lost cause setting it to a clothes size.
My clothes are anywhere from size 20 to 28
And a 5'1 size 16 would look different to a 5'8 size 16
It's probably going to be what each individual person identifies as

As someone who went from a size 22 (18 stone) to a size 12 (12 stone) 8 years ago,it wasn't a term I ever used for myself when I was obese. I classed myself as overweight/large/fat. I absolutely respect that a lot of overweight women choose the term BBW to describe themselves and there is absolutely a huge amount of people who admire that but it was never a term I felt relatable to personally |
