I had an excuse today for someone not making meet due to the person in question being involved in a road accident and breaking his arm as a result. Sounds like massive porky pie to me. What other reasons have forum readers been given? By the way it’s not the first time that I have gotten this excuse. I have been driving over 40 years and I have had five accidents in all that time. I wonder what the odds would be if I happened to be driving to a meet and was involved in a bump? |

I’m quite sure they could send a pic as proof. Arrange to meet for a coffee and you’ll see if he’s genuine or not.
Genuine reasons for missing a meet-
Guy was hospitalised with shingles - I did go to meet him once he was out of hospital
Guy put his back out moving stuff at work - again genuine I’ve now known this guy for 12 years.
One guy blamed the weather, it was chucking it down to be fair.
Another said he had a firework through a window in his car
I rarely cancel a meet but I have had to do due to kids being ill, I’ve had a flare up with my diverticulitis, car problems, etc. Don’t write someone off just because they’ve cancelled. Some people are worth a second chance.

Assuming you asked if the said person was ok after being involved in an accident? It does happen - for real. |

I had to cancel a meet before because my bathroom leaked through my kitchen ceiling - got blocked real quick for that one haha
Best I've had given to me was something about their star sign and they shouldn't meet new people at the moment |

Several years ago I arranged a meet with a lady who messaged me an hour before we had planned for me to pick her up to say…….”.I’ve just had my driveway painted but they painted around the whole house so I am trapped inside and can’t get out”
Top that |

I've had some interesting ones:
Positive COVID test, but verification received from gangbang same night.
Due to meet couple. He messaged 30 mins prior to arrival to say wife was stuck at work and would join us later. I told him that they should arrive together or not at all. They didn't show. Several days later, get message from wife apologising, and staying she knew nothing about the meet, as she was on holidays in Greece at the time. Seems she had stumbled across message in sent file, he'd forgot to delete.
No show. Message next day explaining he was stuck at work and phoned ran out of battery. Asked to meet again. Claimed to be available most of time. Unable to make any of 5 days suggested. Another batch of dates provided, he was apparently ' going to check his schedule today'. That was 10 days ago. |

Spent all day chatting to a lady making plans and getting each other exited. Managed to get an early finish from work and headed on over. Knocked the door to be greated by said lady only for her to say we haven't arranged to meet. The entire conversation from that day was arranging to meet, what time, what we would do and her address. Spent the next 20 mins in the car reading through the messages very confused and to this day non the wiser. |

Sounds like she was either on the wind up or somebody has set her up |

I had a couple once that when I arrived at the hotel and knocked on their room door, there was no one there. After several more knocks a grumpy looking bloke answered and was a bit shocked to see me in leather dress and boots, only to find out I was at the wrong Premier Inn!
Felt a bit silly so left rather swiftly lol xxx |

"Guy parked outside the house messaged and said they don't like our vibe ? Drove over 40 mins to get to us an then decided he didn't like our vibe "
I’ve done that too. The garden was overgrown and the place looked neglected. I’d hate to see what the inside looked like. I didn’t wait to find out. |

"Arranged to meet at a public place, I arrived and was on video call to the guy as he was on his way. Changed his mind mid call as it was too public. He'd suggested the place 🤣🤣🤣"
That’s an obvious MARRIED…lol. |

I've alway turned up for meets. Two weeks ago I quickly arranged a late evening meet with a guy just 1 mile drive from me. Got myself dressed up, full makeup, perfume etc, messaged the guy and said be with you in 10 minutes. Looked for my car keys and remembered they were on the table in a room that my father was sleeping in. No way could I risk going in to retrieve them. Had to message the guy and cancel the meet. That was so embarrassing. |

"I was given wrong house deliberately which is quite embarrassing "
Always have the Facebook Marketplace excuse for when this happens, saves explaining that you have driven to have sex with somebody you have never met!! |
