Beddgelert is a really lovely village close to Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon).
It does get busy and bustling at times.
There’s a few hotels, pubs with rooms there, and campsites on the roads north and east out of there.
Some lovely walks from the village too, ranging from riverside strolls to the impressive, but strenuous Moel Hebog.
Obviously, the clincher will be that the village is named after a dog (Gelert) and his grave (Bedd) . |

Depending on how close specifically you need to be; if you fancy something different, checkout the the 'Living Room Treehouses' Near Machynlleth, they're amazing (if you're happy going off grid!). Stayed there once and visited Snowdon so it's not 'too' far. |
