How do you guys date these days? Is it all internet? Any recommendations? Tried the fish place and not very impressed. Maybe I need to start a new hobby? Anyone got any stories to share?
My very first internet date was with a guy who worked for the water board but smelled like he hadn’t bathed in years, oh the irony.

Hi Etto,
I find all the dating apps quite tedious to be honest, but unfortunately it's how you meet people today🤷🏻♀️.
You just have to sift your way through it until you meet someone you like. There are some nice guys on there worth getting to know. But there are SO MANY losers too, it does feel like a waste of time. I find HINGE to be a good one.

You just have to sift your way through it until you meet someone you like. There are some nice guys on there worth getting to know. But there are SO MANY losers too, it does feel like a waste of time. I find HINGE to be a good one.

I met my partner on here and have been together almost 3 years. Neither of us were looking for a relationship on fab but we clicked and that was that! |

Ive been on / tried most of the dating apps
In my experience they are all much of a muchness.
Tbh I dont really like or enjoy the process of the apps...
But with a busy life... it seems like the "norm" in terms of meeting people.
They lack nuance and depth.. but I guess you have to participate.

not everyone works for the clean water side of the business, I work for a water company but process food waste , it does make you a bit nose blind. |

I’ve just joined Bumble for a browse to see what it’s all about. I think they are all much a muchness really but as the ownership to make contact is on the woman to make contact I think I stand more of a chance than if it was left to me haha. By the time you take into account my touch of ‘tism’ combined with being riddled with ADHD and crippling shyness I’d never message anyone 1st but feel bad if I don’t reply so may be a winner haha who knows. |
