The actual act of pegging often doesn't really do much for women physically. It's very much about the psychological aspect, watching the guys reaction, the power dynamic etc.
As such, there really does need to be some sort of connection between both parties. Which is why for many women, they aren't really interested in doing this with new play partners.
It does also appear to be the 'in' thing recently. It's a big male fantasy.
I actually went to help out at an event recently which was dedicated to pegging. Of the 12 guys who confirmed attendance, 4 arrived.(Previous one had 30% confirmed attendance)

I think hyper focusing on a specific kink or fantasy is less likely to get any meaningful result than you might find from socially integrating into a community of like-minded people.
Like others have said, some kinks like pegging are more often explored by people with a good bond that usually starts with friendship followed by a mutual attraction.
Not to say that pegging hook ups cant happen! but it's more often explored by people who have a bond established prior.
