morning cold water dip?

morning all. has anyone tried cold water swimming? before the water gets to cold thought a morning weekday dip could be a good way to try. plus see a lovely sunrise. would anyone be interested xx

Sadly not me, OP. I can imagine it must feel quite exhilarating. I usually have an icy cold rinse after a warm shower to release those endorphins and kick start the circulation. 🧊

I love Rest Bay 😊 I'm sure there's a sauna there but not tried it. I'd be up for it.

We’ve done cold water dipping and sauna at Jackson bay in Barry! Never in the morning though, more of an evening thing for us! We’ve gone to sunrise at Summer Solstice too and that was an experience!

The Vale or Ceredigion

Until a couple of years ago I used to sea swim in The Vale (near Bridgend) all year round, always naked and usually about 9am. It’s time, perhaps, to start again.
