Evening all
Can anyone recommend lifestyle friendly hotels around the Newport/Cardiff area, that have a bar for a bit of social beforehand? Ease of room access and no awkward reception lol

Not sure about lifestyle friendly as I’m sure they have no idea what’s going on haha but the Village Hotel in Cardiff is a go to … lovely bar area for socialising .. the smallest reception area which you can book in yourself or let the staff do it and comings and goings are not monitored lol  |

There's a few look at dayuse website. There's a handful in Newport and a few more in Cardiff. Mercure is the dominant one of the Newports, but Mercure chain in general, holiday inn Marriott group all do a day rate concession |

It's a good shout, but I'm pretty sure the receptionists knew what was going on last time I was there. But they don't mind, a booking is a booking. |
