Everyone knows I'm a cool guy, but I do have a 'dork side'. For years I had my own allotment plot, growing fruit 'n veg for friends and family. I'm also an avid collector of Lego Botanicals. Is there anything you collect or do, which others could persevere as being dorkish? 🤓 |

"I like trains and when I retire I'm going to start a teapot collection "
Well hopefully when you're old, the local bus company will still do daytrips to Keswick, an amazing Teapots per capita ratio up there
(I didn't go for the Teapots, I went to the pencil museum)

They're great aren't they, but quite pricey like you say. Lots available on a site beginning with 'V' (don't know if I can mention other apps on here) which specialises in second hand stuff. Worth a look. |

"Probably a lot of my hobbies could be considered a bit geeky or dorkish. Currently sat painting a miniature for one of my many boardgames.
That sounds really therapeutic and intricate. "
It's a good way to switch off. Put some music on or a good audio book and just work away at it. |

So much dork:
- over 200 board games
- approaching that number of TTRPG manuals
- Midway through building the Lego sets and have Rivendell, Barad-Dûr, Bag End and Gandalf v Balrog to build. Plus Toothless and others already have too much built.
I "may" have a problem. |

"I've also got an allotment, and I brew my own wine and collect lego star wars helmets. When im not birdwatching that us."
Wow, that's a lot of interests you have. How the Dickens do you find time for it all? Isn't Lego a relaxing pass time! |

Definitely be even more so if they took longer to do or was cheaper so I could do more 🤣 wine is easy 6 weeks and minimal action |

I don't tend to say dork, more a nerd or geek, although I'm definitely dorky at times 😅
Used to play WOW, but fell out of love a little after cataclysm.
I play Minecraft, a lot of boardgames (I don't care to count but it's certainly over 100) and various ttrpgs, also love to LARP, but largely crew at those now 😊 |
