I gave up worrying about being recognised or ‘outed’ by someone I know in non fab life years ago and the first couple of times I came across a profile of someone I was 99 per cent sure was in my class in school I blocked him as neither of us knew the other was bi and I felt it would be massively awkward and embarrassing.
Now I would love to find a profile of someone or some two who I know outside this site as long as they were as comfortable in their own skins as I am in mine. I actually think a meet would be even better as there is already a connection and all parties know that privacy isn’t a problem so there is already trust as well.
Anyone else think similar ? |

If I was single, I wouldn't give two shits about anyone recognising me. The fact that I'm not, make me a little more cautious. I've seen a few people on the site that I've recognised from previous jobs, local folk and past acquaintances.. I just block them and carry on. Someone I once knew dropped me a message and used my real name, I went into full panic mode and deleted my account. |

On couples profile, we used to show our faces, but after a while of not being able to go out for a meal without two or three messages from anonymous people saying they just seen us, we decided to swap it to the obscene on the outside.
I personally have no issues, it's only Ruby anyone is after anyway, and rightfully so haha

I have chatted to people I know from "the real world" but wouldn't mention it to anyone outside of the fan world.
Surely there is some fight club type rule yeah? |
