I am losing so much hair ladies. I look as though I have really long and quite thick hair. My daughter put it in duo plaits for me last week and honest to god it was so so thin. There was barley enough hair at the bottom of each plait to put the bobble around after about 50 wraps. Is there anything at all I can take/do to minimise hair loss. Genuinely scared here tbh

As someone who has always had thin hair, peri-menopause/menopause was not good for it.
Finding the right shampoo and conditioner for my hair and switching to a natural bamboo comb helped me. Also taking vitamins. |

Brhingraj oil and they also do capsules, it is very effective in stopping hair loss and greying. It’s scientifically proven! Did a lot of research for my ex over many years as she had a really rough time with it. Soy milk, zinc and magnesium before bed and may other supplements for various symptoms but for hair, zinc and magnesium 1hr before bed and brhingraj oil for hair. Just bear in mind the oil is toxic to animals so hair cap while it’s on is advisable but they also do capsules not sure how effective the caps are! But you can research it yourself to find out. Hope this helps x |

As a balding man I’ve used brhingraj oil and have noticed a massive difference between weeks I use it to weeks I don’t in hair falling out during brushing and washing. I Also use a caffeinated shampoo and palmers coconut oil conditioner as these both also help with hair loss. |

I’ve had the same. Initially went for bloods with the GP to confirm if hormones or another cause (such as low ferritin) were to blame and I wasn’t perimenopausal and they were all normal except for my cortisol (which being very low can cause hair loss which is now being investigated). I then started a lot of research into products that reduce hair loss. Feel free to drop me a message if you’d like, but just know it happens to most of us! |
