Gym recommendations Bridgend

"I think the only option you’d have for all of those is Nuffield? "
Yep, definitely. I didn't like Nuffield as there was often a big wait for benches and squat racks. Cardio equipment was fine and so were the classes.
Best gym in terms of changing rooms and showers but you pay handsomely for the privilege of nice things and a pool. If they'd sorted the resistance equipment I'd probably still be a member. |

"Thinking about joining the gym and Bridgend based too be nice to hear of any recommendations "
If you want a pool etc then you only have Nuffield and the Rec.
If you want 24/7 access then you have Snap Fitness and Energie. Both decently equipped but smaller.
If you just want weights then Kongs, Dynamic are good.
K2 has a good mix of everything and is massive. |

Thanks for the recommendations I know it’s stereotypical saying I want to join gym in new year and all that but it’s something that’s been on the cards for a while now the Christmas rush is over
I’ll take a look |

Never a bad time to join a gym. If it's minx looking to join then I can recommend K2, a lot of women train there and there are female trainers who know their stuff too. |

I've seen a few couples training together there too. |

"Dynamic strength and fitness is a good one, has an outdoor bit which is decent in the summer, energie is decent also, puregym is tad shite, halo typically has a lot of under 18s in there"
I had a free session in Pure Gym. Groups of 4 or more young lads training together on a bench or machine, using it for 30mins at a time. Not my kind of place. |
