Guys who have had the snip???

Have had a few occurrences of guys not knowing what the snip (vasectomy) is. It’s a preference of ours due to circumstances but not a lot of guys seem to have had it done around our age bracket. We know it’s not for everyone but it does have us wondering, are there any guys that have? |

I was around 24 year old when I had it done not long after our 2nd child was born. We were lucky that we had 1 girl and 1 boy and decided that our family was complete and didnt want to have any more kids. Dont regret it 1 bit. |

Got mine last year as our family is complete as well as two difficult births.So we just decided we didn't want anymore kids. Wouldn't change anything at all. Initially was uncomfortable for a few days/weeks but certainly worth it in the long run. |

I like this thread. Often the responsibility of long term contraception falls, unfairly, on the woman. Hopefully society is shifting in encouraging men to take personal responsibility. Well done guys   |

Male half had it done years ago about 28 or 29. Just found it incredible that some fellas had no idea what we were on about when asked in chit chat. |

All done about 10 years ago, it's about a 15/20 min operation
Things were tender for a couple of days but more the factor of what if I bang or knock them...
After all they were very traumatised lol |

Your not wrong there but what i will say is that people react differently. Me personally I had the Op in the morning, out by lunch time and I was back i. Work the following day but I was driving coaches for a living back then which probably made it a bit easier than most people. |
