I am thinking of going to Greenhouse (Chameleons) in Newport this Sat 21st (Tomorrow) night.

I wondered is it mixed gay / straight / bi and is it worth going as I haven't been in about 10years?

If memory serves, prior to midnight on a Saturday, it is men only, whilst it trades as Greenhouse. After midnight on a Saturday, it changes to Chameleons (Chams for short) and is then open to all genders. I could be wrong, but that was how I understood it

Ok on friday its chameleons after 8pm and membership is needed.

On Saturday its goes back to the greenhouse its bi night (str8 friendly). Most couples/single females tend to go after 7pm but are allowed in the afternoon.

£20 entrance fee, towels provided. Its byo on alcohol and you purchase soft drinks etc.

Am going... Hotel is booked.

As to opening times, Saturdays it opens at 10am and all are welcome from then.

It does close for a bit on a Friday to clean up before they reopen as Chams at 7:30

You’ll be accepted very well. Saturday nights are very open to all cd/tv no matter how ‘convincing’. It’s a safe space to be yourself.
