WALES CHAT ROOM THE GREAT REVIVAL

ok, hear me out on this one !
I was discussing with friends how the Wales chat Room used to be one of the busiest and most fun out of all the chat rooms on FAB.
These days numbers seem to be in the single figures and tumbles cross the screen.
So, last night a few of us got together in Wales chat and it was a blast !
Being as the wales forum is so busy, I suggest people could post a night/time in this forum your planning on going in chat and maybe everyone can join in, or maybe set a night of the week so everyone gets familiar with and get the Wales room Back to what it was ?

Everywhere literally better in blackpool Bristol Scotland have played the scene everywhere far more friendly and welcoming elsewhere and had so much more experience in England prob as more clubs but the clubs there offer so much more club play by far best club in the UK |

OK you are right, there are far more clubs in England. However, those clubs are in highly populated areas where they can afford to be swinger dedicated.
The welsh club just doesn't benefit from huge amounts of people so it caters for gay men.
As for your prior comment regarding wales way behind in the scene, I think you will find that Wales is very busy and has a vibrant social and event scene that I can see from your Veris you have no experience of ?

Don’t think there is much going on in Bristol. Poly scene maybe with Club Love and other stuff at Lakota.
I am from that neck of the woods and always found Bristol a bit underwhelming. Club wise you are right nothing can compare to what’s on offer in England particularly the midlands. Brum particularly is a hotbed for good clubs IMO.
There is a big social scene though in Wales and a few house parties that may be worth you checking out.
Hope you find something positive if not happy travelling over the border.

When I first joined fab many years ago, The Wales chat room was how I arranged my first 2 ever fab meets. Glitter girl and Minky. Such fond memories of these ladies. Wonder what they are doing now. |

I totally agree with you CJ, Wales chat used to be fantastic, as did South West chat, now it seems all the familiar names and faces have gone and all that's left is a skeleton of what it once was.
I think you might have something with your suggestion, but if it isn't going to get the traffic it once had I don't think it matters what happens, it will not get back to what it once was mate. |
