Oh I had no doubt he would bail, but that excuse 1hr before the meet was one of the best I've heard. I was out in town anyway, so no loss for me. |

To be honest, the weather (rain) is the main reason I don't arrange to meet. I've even been known to cancel plans with vanilla friends if it's raining.
As for excuses on fab, I've not really had any. Just get ghosted, no communication |

Had one tell me he had the wrong day, we'd spoken that morning to confirm & ended with see you later. That was my very last attempt at having a civilised social meet.
There have had so many flimsy & disrespectful excuses I no longer believe any man.
Never will I do a coffee meet or any social again, I'm at the point where I'm happy to not have sex for months & wait to see those I already know. |

Not had any cancellations in all my years on here, 30+ meets. I've read in various forums posts, that a lot of guys get cold feet quite often on here. It's a shame really, because we all get tarred with the same brush. |

I know I’ve given the worst excuse…
I’m going to have to rain check as I’ve been bitten by a squirrel so 111 have advised me to go to a&e
Poor lad, he even screen shot it to send to a friend but accidentally sent it back to me! He clearly thought it was the most made up excuse
I actually had the bite on video- called him after and showed him the gashes in my finger and he then joined me in a&e for the afternoon! His friends were shocked it was a genuine excuse! |

I had one of those. Cancelled for birthday brunch (which I'd paid for) approx 90 mins before meet. Claimed to have flu and been in bed all of previous day.(But somehow neglect to message me then).
Interestingly, verification showed from that evening, which confirmed she was fighting fit. (I knew the person they met)

Im sorry I can't make it my goldfish has died, he then proceeded to show me a pic of where he buried it.
Or the time a guy couldn't leave the house right now as he hadn't finished his daily crossword 
Oh and just to be fair s ive done it too I've given the excuse sorry I can't meet today my legs prefer to stay hairy lol yeah Im a class act at times lol

I'm with you on the hairy legs thing.. although I have stuck a pair of thick hold-ups on to save doing my legs 😂 |
