Hi all,

Fairly new to all of this! As you know, as a newbie this can all be fairly daunting to start with!

I know the community is very welcoming but also can be a daunting place to start!

Would anyone be interested in a social aimed at people who at similar stages of their journeys to you?

Im happy to organise

So, honestly, a newbies only social would end up with a handful of men, maybe 1 couple and zero women.

You'd be suprised at how many newbies go to the established socials and how welcoming the community can be.

Yes it can be daunting, but introduce yourself to the organisers, say you're new and would like a few intros.

Problem solved.

We make an effort to make sure all the newbies are settled in and even try and do a bit of homework so we can introduce them to people who are looking for the same kinda thing.

As someone who has only been on here for 8 months, going to established socials are great. Yes its daunting but so is anything for the first time

Everyone is nervous and cant talk when new. Thats why alcohol is amazing. After a couple of hours everyone is a little d*unk and will talk to everyone without caring.

Socials are amazing, its worth it to stay for the whole night

It depends what type of social you want.

Bridgend and Penybont CF31 are both chilled out socials.

Caerphilly is a quiz.

Cardiff and Newport are disco/party vibes.

Blackwood Ive been told is a party vibe.

Im not sure on anything West as we havent been that way for a long time.
