We are in Cardiff over this weekend. Thought we might try Newport Chams out. Is Friday the swinging night? Find website a bit confusing? Also is it far, easy to get a cab or any better way of getting too/from?? Any hints or tips? We are members of the Darleston one!

Fridays are the members only nights. From Cardiff it’s a bit more awkward to get to as it’s more on the outskirts of Newport, so depending where you’re staying, taxi would be your best option, train and taxi as second. It’s also BYO alcohol too

We are members as go to darleston, so that’s not an issue….. will see how much uber might be or maybe train there, uber back?!

You’d need to get a taxi from the train station to the club as it’s a very long walk! I’d probably go with Uber there and back tbh

Uber from cardiff castle to chams newport be 25-30 each way

As long as uber not surging to much

No idea about pubs people go to for pre drinks but I’m staying at the windmill that had a pub. There is also a pub right next door to the club
