Pontypridd

Down toward Ruperra near Draethen is nice and quiet. Up behind Aber Cynon cemetery also before it hits Llanwono. But most of the valleys have good forestry on the side of the hills, often very quiet areas.

Plenty of forestry in Brechfa, I walk them regularly so know which ones are quiet for pictures and fun

We’ve already capitalised on the weather and had some great pics from down Pembrey, can recommend. Can be pretty busy but there’s plenty of places off the main paths
