we have been to the beach a few times already this year, the latest being yesterday (Sunday) and to be honest it has lost the sparkle it once had - possibly because of the high ratio of single men to couples |

As long as they leave us alone, we're happy. We're there to enjoy being naked on a beach. Shame so many don't grasp the difference between naturism and swinging. |

The beach is nearly a mile long and when the tide is low there is so much space it's easy to just enjoy the sun providing you are up for a bit of a walk. There last week kept to myself lay on the firmer moist and hence cooler sand the, soft sand was unbearably hot, and I was rarely within 50 yards of anyone. I absolutely loved it and should be back probably Thursday. I'm sure if I was female I'd have had a different experience. |

We were there a month ago (pics on profile) and there were only maybe 6 people on the beach itself aside from the dog walkers. Plenty of men in the dunes though. We had a pleasant experience and hope for the same this week. 🤞

The point we were making in our last post was that the ambience on the beach has changed greatly in the past few years (we have been supported in this opinion). Frankly it's far less sexy and more boring that it was and this is due in part at least to the imbalance of sexes of people who go there, especially to the more liberated areas. We have seen exactly the same at two of the naked beaches (Cabopino & Almayate) we go to in Spain. The average ages of visitors to morfa Dyffryn is now 20 - 30 years greater than than it used to be. All this probably puts off younger people and those with families, which are few and far between. Let's hope this changes soon. |

We agree with what you are saying.
No doubt things changed with the Internet. Also we think it was much better before it was a designated nude beach when it seemed ok to walk right out to the back of the dunes. As for the age mix of people on our last few visit there seemed to be people from there twenties up to there eighties, a good mix we'd say! |

How easy is it to get there on bike? |

As easy as by car. There is a public car park close enough. Or you can pay £4 to park at the Duffryn Seaside Estate. They may let a bike park for free. Walk over the dunes turn right and you will reach the naturist part of the beach. |

Yep! The Seaside Estate is where we park. 10 minute walk from there.

Where do you park then on the estate as I usually park in the Benar car park by the loo’s but they fleece my out of £8 now (not that I’m a cheapskate lol)

"It's a total sausage fest here today! The women to men ratio is atrocious.
The weather's beautiful if a bit windy and the sea is warm. Lovely!
Freyja" My first time here today you are right was quite noticeable the number of men on the beach compared to women.I was the one with the black and White dog with me.On what was lovely weather for the beach and water thankfully wasn’t cold though was starting to get windy later on. |

Yeah we saw you! Lovely dog 😍
It did get very windy, that's even with windbreakers and a sun shade lol. Felt like we were in a wind tunnel! We decided it had got too much so headed back to our caravan.

When you enter the seaside resort you come to a small roundabout. Take a left and follow it to the left where there's a little old man in a deckchair with a big sign next to him saying "£4 parking for the day". Once parked up, walk through the dunes, turn right at the beach and keep walking. Literally 10 minutes max! 😊

Spent 4 days on the beach during the last week ,yes there were more men than m/f couples and a few of them were m/m couples ,A couple of all male groups who were just enjoying themselves on the main beach
Didn’t see any of the lone males approach any of the couples or hassle them in any way ,so I don’t know where the phobia of single men has come from |

I’ve been going a few times a year for 12 years. I’ve noticed the odd interaction that people were clearly uncomfortable with.
I stick to the beach, but have seen the meerkats in the dunes every single time I’m there. On a few occasions, I’ve looked back from the beach and seen a meerkat stampede (OK, that’s slightly overstating it!) when there’s some sense that something naughty is happening. Quite funny to see, but I can see why that might cause a bit of concern.
The clearest sense I’ve had that the odd person can get it wrong is that I’ve had guys come over to me wanking and lying down too close to me on two/three occasions. No encouragement and not particular welcome.
Overall, I do think most people behave decently there.

We had one of these men on Friday. We moved far along the beach away from most, setup with windbreakers for privacy and a tent shade too. He decided to keep walking past us then sat a few metres away diagonally in perfect view of me then decided to stare while touching himself. I told Erik what he was doing so he positioned himself with his arse pointing right at this man and blocking the view of me. We walked down to the sea for a skinny dip shortly after and the man moved on.
I do agree with your final sentence, most do behave decently but there are a select few who just make the experience seedy and uncomfortable.
Stick to the dunes if wanting to be part of the wanking dead! 🧟♂️✊️💦

Sorry you had that experience. I did grin slighty
at the arse pointing - a handy deterrent. Obviously that’s not to trivialise what happened, though.
For some years, there was one guy who was prone to doing this. He was one of the guys who I encountered. I have a feeling he was essentially benign, but didn’t have an understanding about social interaction, appropriate boundaries etc.
I still love the beach for its beauty and freedoms it affords. I’m looking forward to going this week.
It’s obviously different for guys, though.

I've been my my partner a couple of times and it's been good and bad. And was there 2 weeks ago.Definitely way more men than couples/women but I understand why a single woman wouldnt go, because any time I am left alone when the other half goes in the sea or for a walk, men come over. I would never go to the beach alone on this basis.
I have also experience being at the back of the dunes but we have been extremely discrete about this as we know it's not for everybody.
Overall I want to go there, get naked and enjoy the sun on my skin - I don't particularly enjoy men standing at the end of my towel when I am on my own staring and rubbing themselves waiting for me to notice. We also don't enjoy given how big the beach is and how we always try to set up away from others, men coming and setting up far too close. Like, why?! Very annoying.
Unfortunately, some men (I say men because I have never experienced couples or woman do it) just do not understand privacy, manners or etiquette. |

Exactly 💯.
Some men can think there's a phobia against them, but until they've walked a mile in our shoes they can keep schtum.
We're there to enjoy naturism. If I wanted to be watched, I'd go to a sex club! 🤦🏼♀️

Having been to Morfa, and had the experiences I detailed above, I feel I’ve walked about eight feet in women’s shoes (not literally) . |

I’m there today and possibly tomorrow or Thursday.
I first went in 2014 as a “what the hell” moment. Fell in love with naturism there and then, though.
I’ve been there a few times each year ever since .
Always nice to chat with others while there . |
