I've been offered a couple of months work in Newport and wondered if anyone could recommend a hotel or somewhere to stay.
I was also thinking of maybe getting a house or flat share, so tips on nice areas or places to avoid would be good. |

loads of nice places especially just outside Newport........ coach and horses on a48 nice pub has premier inn attached and used by swingers a lot.... roman lodge caerleon good too |

Thanks for the info.
Premier Inn doesn't look too bad and is only about 10 mins from where I need to be.
Stayed in the Ibis the other day, it's very basic.
