It means they want to meet someone they fancy that day .....not just any one. |

Do you understand it ? Many people use it to arrange meets on certain days, in the same way events are advertised on the events board weeks in advance.
If the "Current status" box on your profile says "seeking meet at ours on 29th January" what is wrong with putting that in the meet today section.
It does no harm, it lets people know a specific day you are looking for a meet and many people need to arrange babysitters etc so advance notice is good for them.
The events board is the one that bugs me, it is for organised events like Socials organised for anyone who want to go to them, Parties or events that clubs are holding, a party is not a couple looking for another couple, a single looking for a couple etc, a club night is not Doris and Henry going to Xstasia on Saturday and asking who else is going, a social is not a couple looking for a sinle female etc.
Hence the report button on the events page and no report button on the meet today page I guess 
Still we all have our own opinion of things.
You will find us on the Meet Today page almost everyday, that is because we are available to meet almost every day, we dont have kids, we have a 5 bedroom house so can always accommodate and we like to entertain at home.
That said we tend to find that once about every 6 weeks we find someone that is compatible, so if we dont find someone today there may be someone tomorrow, just because we are on everyday doesn't mean we are getting to meet someone every day  |
