I ride (bikes) but I get the impression I'm not your type... Or are you mine. But a group ride to a remote part off the forest followed by a 'group ride' could be great fun.

There are no spots in Afan really - what I'm saying is there is LOADS of forest up there that seldom see human life. Although I'm pretty sure some dogging goes on in the Bryn Bettws area.

Lots of lovely flat, car free riding to be had along the canal in the Neath Valley.

You could even ride your bike there as well

Best to start off slowly, always pays to keep some energy in reserve. Just in case any other actively takes your fancy LOL

Haven't been up afan in years, been wanting to get back on the bike but been too busy ! Think it's well over due...

Used to go up the Afan valley back in the 90s before the tracks were built. Found some old workings at the head of the Melin Court Brook.

Haven't been up there as much as I should have since moving back to the area 5 years ago.

It does look like some work was done while I was away. There are some Rookie tracks and a nice bit of single track at the top of the Wall.

I may get my arse in gear this summer and go back up there to see if I can dislocate my other shoulder lol
