Yes he has confirmed on instagram if you watch the video he done it makes a lot a sense why he’s done it so cleaver x

It would be, but in a weird way, I think Banksy wouldn’t mind. He (or she!) would probably see it as a statement about society, the fragility of art etc. Almost part of the process.

Exactly my thoughts last night during that rain, would be so similar to the shredded picture thing. He /she doesn't view the art form as a lasting thing, the transience is part of the art. It's the thinking behind the art piece that makes it more meaningful & exciting X

Have you seen the guy who makes sand circles on beaches in West Wales. Utterly stunning - and the tide washes them away in hours.

It’s a similar ethos, I think.
