Hi all.
Quick question, we are away on holiday in our caravan and there is a caravan with 3 pink flamingos outside their caravan.
Did we read somewhere that this was a sign of swingers?
Not sure if to ask them about them or not? |

Perhaps start a conversation about something else, say go over and ask for a cup of sugar or something. While there, invite them over for drinks and chat. As you all relax and get to know each other, you may learn more about each others' hobbies. At worst, you will have had a pleasant social encounter. |

I alway been traveling around to different Campervan and Camping site and Adults campervan and camping site and Again Naturist Campervan and Camping site which I do get fun , I spend 2 to 3 weeks in different site meeting up , I enjoy it |

Chameleon seems to be the way to go. A couple i met in Spain pointed theirs out to me on the back of their van.
I've considered a Pansexual Pride flag sticker (pink, yellow, blue) for my van but not sure if it would be considered offensive as obviously not all pansexuals are swingers. Also, i suppose it would only work if you considered yourself attracted to other genders |

There are various signs that legend has it denotes swingers.
A chameleon.
A FAB lolly wrapper.
Pampas grass, (have even seen a Motorhome with a potted pampas grass plant outside).
Flamingos, (we have swinging friends who have three BIG flamingos, not real ones obviously, outside their motorhome).
Well today in Morrisons we bought a pink flamingo bottle opener. What could be better ? If we are in the Motorhome we could tie the bottle opener to the awning or lay it on the table, someone spots it and starts chatting.
But vanilla's will just see a bottle opener !  |

We have just got a new tent, got some of the chameleon stickers, will be placing them above the manufacturer sign writing on either side of the tent when we next put it up August bank holidays weekend. Hope they get spotted by some friendly couples x |

Yes, put the flamingos at the front of the MH, the fab lolly wrappers in the back window. A pineapple at one side and the pampas grass at the other.

Had a motor home drive up to the gates of our small CL recently to check us out but we were full. When they were leaving noticed that they had a big chameleon sticker on van. |

This made me chuckle, I’m flamingo mad and I’ve just got a solar one to go outside the door of my tent so the kids can see our pitch easier… I’d be mortified if someone approached me because of it  that wouldn’t happen on family sites would it? |

Used to belong to caravan swingers a while back they had a disk to put in your window.. maybe we should all agree on a symbol or something to put out as a sign that you maybe up to play..also check on who's on near by .. |

I was away at the weekend staying nr Malvern. Had a look round the site but couldn't see any obvious signs! Maybe it was because the site allowed children.  |

It seams there are a number of signs or symbols, what I would be interested in knowing is. Has anyone ever been approach, while on a campsite, as a result of the symbol/sign being displayed on their caravan or motorhome? |
