Why are there profiles over 3 months old with no photo or meet verifications? I mean it’s supposed to be a site for genuine. A small thing like closing those down would take off around 10-15% of all profiles |

People do get nervous and might also need to protect their own identity as this might be just part of their own private life

Why are you so concerned about profiles you aren't compatible with?
There are lots of reasons including the one mentioned above and not everyone is in a position to or wants to meet so quickly. That doesn't make them any less genuine.
They are many people on fab who don't use the site to meet others and therefore don't use the verification system.
I've been here for years but my last verification was 3 years ago. Does that make me less genuine than those who are meeting regularly?
That was from a group social and I haven't spoken to any of those people before or since and it was nothing more than a 5 minute conversation on the night so their verifications say very little about me as a person.
All the tools already exist to avoid people who don't fit what you want from the site.

Why are people so hung up on verifications? It's optional to photo verify although I don't see why people don't do it but that's up to them.
As for meet verified it can take a while to get used to the site and pluck up the courage to meet someone.
We all started unverified and someone has to give you the first chance. I have met a few lovely unverified men and a couple of well verified ones who turned out to be a-holes.
Verifications don't mean a lot apart from someone actually showed up one that occasion and they are who they claim to be. |

Those profiles are just as entitled to be on Fab as you are. How do you know they haven't met others? There's often a thread from an unverified profile saying they have met another unverified person and neither can verify each other.Just set your filters to block non verified profiles.
And what do you class as genuine anyway? What were you expecting on joining Fab??
Also some people like to just chat or use the forum and there nothing wrong with that.
It's not compulsory to photo verify either... |

How does it effect you? People are entitled to run their profiles as they see fit.

I love it, forums are for debate and that’s started one. So many wanna tell us we are wrong, we are entitled to our opinion, there’s way too many full of shit profiles on here, some of you have the time to sort through it, go you!
Totally agree verified people can be pricks
Love hearing differing opinions too, some points we agree with, but no one will convince us that 95% of all non verified profiles are not serious swingers, unfortunately taints the rest.

It takes time for many, especially single men. I'm sure most women could arrange a meet instantly, but would it be with someone they really wanted?
As for couples? Finding four way attraction is waaaaay harder than it is for two singles to find. Hence plenty wouldn't hit your three month timescale.
Filters are useful. They'll stop any unwanted attention from unverified people, but don't forget, everyone was unverified once.
I'm sure you're correct that some profiles aren't looking to meet. But I doubt it's 95%. 🤷♂️ |

I have had 2 meets with the same people but unfortunately we have not verified each other, so how am I able to get verified, as I'm a Single guy, and most couples dont want to meet single guys? Am I wasting my time on here ,? |

We hear that people are free to run their profiles as they see fit BUT if you are serious about swinging then why the heck would you be on here with no pictures no bi and after a year no verification ???? It’s harder enough for single guys on here so wit a blank profile do they really expect success ?? |

Any website needs registered users to:
Sell advertising.
Make money from affiliate links.
Subscription fees.
Increase the value of a site if they sell it.
No site will want to lose 10-15% overnight. |

It's a site with lots of choice, so that you can use your flexibility, to suit your preferences.
Use it as you see fit. Let others do the same, who may all be here for very different reasons to you, including not meeting or wanting new contacts and friends |

As a couple looking mainly for couples the verification system is invaluable.
Unlike many reports we’ve met virtually no time wasters simply by checking and cross checking potential meets on here.
A different story on the continent, we’ve lived in France for last 10 years and French swingers use verifications less than on Fab and although we’ve had lots of fun with the Europeans it does feel more of a lottery whether a potential meet will turn up. |

There are many people here who don’t immediately meet and get verified. There is nothing wrong with that at all and should respect. It took me ages to get my first meet on here and verification from a meet. Am now lucky to have met many nice people. |

Many thanks for your reply, I think I may give it a go, as I've not been in any of the cam rooms as yet, but people can still verify you just by looking at you on cam ? Never heard of that, something I've learnt thanks again

It not near impossible ,it's an absolute certainty if you go along to the one many socials and speak to the hosts so that they can verify you. |

I was verified by meet the day after I joined, with pretty much the same biog and photos that are on my profile right now. |

It's not. I've had four meets and three verifications and I hardly live in a area drowing in swingers or profiles that will/want to physically meet men.
Maybe I've been lucky but it's also about putting in the time and effort. Physically go to a social, make the time to attend/bear the cost of it if needed if you aren't getting anywhere just by messaging behind your phone screen. You'll meet plenty of people there and someone will verify you.
I'm not a huge fan of socials but in cases like yours they can be invaluable. |
