I’ve been on Fab for 2.5 years at this point. I often reflect on my journey in the lifestyle, positive and negative. The other day, I struck by the how impactful the positives have actually been. Curious if others have insights which extend beyond these. And equally the extent to which people can relate.
1. Staying in shape. Fab has been a huge fitness motivator for me. It provides a solid basis to ensure I look good naked.
2. Midlife life social boost. The friendships I’ve gained have been unexpected and wonderful. Such a brilliant way to connect to people I would never have met otherwise.
3. The linking of the concepts of friendship and sex. These were totally different things for me before Fab. Now they are really closely linkable and it feels really good (exciting) to be able to relate these.
4. Expanding horizons and confronting hidden biases. There are many things I didn’t know I didn’t know before Fab not only about sex but about people and my assumptions in relation to both. So many gaps in my understanding have been revealed and corrected.
5. Understanding of self. I know so much more about my own sexuality and my body, what I am capable of and what my innate preferences/desires are. It’s this I’m most happy with because it means I am a much better communicator with my partners, meaning all are more likely to have a good time.

Its really good to focus on the positives, as sometimes the negative posts here can be a little wearing.
I too have found a lot of positives in my journey here all while navigating through a few negative experiences. I have learned a lot about myself and how to deal with things a lot better than I did in my early days here.
The social side to here is so much fun and a wonderful way to meet like minded people. 💗

It has been mainly positive for us. Got to experience some of our fantasies and met some lovely people along the way.
Our relationship is stronger for many reasons and fab has been a positive contributor.

I never knew that there was so much I had to learn about myself until I joined fab. And also so much that I already knew but never acknowledged. And to learn so much about a world that I never even knew existed has been incredible. Its state of continual growth and change for me and for us as a couple.
I totally agree that the most wonderful thing has been to find a tribe of people with which I could have a connection - to chose to spend time with on a physical level, and on a social level and both. To enjoy the company of so many extraordinary people from different backgrounds and cultures has been something I never expected and every adventure brings new people to meet. |
