Whatever happens I’m cool. My house has been proper tidied and I wouldn’t have done that had I not been having a new guest over.

Only it’s 16:16 now and not heard a peep. I know we both work nights and he finishes a lot later than me but still, you’d be up by now wouldn’t you? WhatsApp shows last online at 5:30am which was when he would’ve finished work and he messaged me at 5:29 saying see you later. His ETA is supposed to be 6pm but not heard anything.

This is why I didn’t want all this meeting stuff cos of the anticipation, the will they won’t they and checking your phone bollocks.

PLEASE don’t say his loss because the loss is mine. I wanna fuck! Just logical answers based off the info given.

Probably still asleep, in the gym etc.

If he was out and about he surely would have shown up online even if he was blanking.

You're not meeting for over an hour and a half. Unless he's got that far to travel, I wouldn't worry at the moment. Maybe send him a cheeky message to say you're looking forward to seeing him soon and hope he is too?

I wouldn't panic when I do regular night I don't sleep till about 0800 and wake up about 1730...

Also he could be fretting or just playing it cool and making you anxious so when he arrives you pounce in him like a girl possessed..

Which sounds like you will.

Have a greet meet

The plan has been made. Further comms are needed if the plan changes. There’s no need to check in every 5 mins. He knows he’s onto a sure thing. We know there’s attraction. We know that there’s no expectation of anything more. Them’s the facts presented. So what purpose would it serve to ‘check in’?

Now if he’s late without advance apology that speaks volumes of his integrity, thoughtfulness etc. but that’s a “what if” at 16:42 so lets give him benefit of the doubt in the meantime

OP hope you have a wonderful evening!

It's my experience in meets.. that when it's getting near to the meet if you stop hearing from the person it ain't gonna happen.. for instance.. I'm meant to be having one this evening.. last I heard from the person was over 24 hours ago.... been on this site long enough to realise I'll probably be spending the night on me own watching the porridge box set I picked up from the charity shop in the week..

Do I message and say not heard anything so I’ve made other plans now.

Or the one I want to do, do nothing no text or anything. If he messages in the next 45 mins cos I’ll still set and straighten my hair then he can come down. After 7 if he messages I’ll say I’m over my friends now sorry cos I didn’t hear anything.

Or if he doesn’t message at all and I see him next in work I’ll just be polite as normal and if he asks again I’ll obviously say nah actually it’s not a good idea but still be friendly and polite?

"Not heard anything he hasn’t been online either. Right damage control now cos I gotta see this dude in work. I’m not even ready myself. Hairs still wet and I’ve got my turban on it still.

Or if he doesn’t message at all and I see him next in work I’ll just be polite as normal and if he asks again I’ll obviously say nah actually it’s not a good idea but still be friendly and polite?"

Polite and distant at work. But don't up another offer gets my vote.

I wouldn’t do anything. Not message him, not reply (if he texts and it’s a shit excuse) and just act nonchalant in work.

Act like you weren’t expecting him to show.

Although, he could be late. He may have stopped off at Asda for wine/chocolates/flowers/condoms.

Sorry to hear this Annie.

Perhaps this puts things a bit into perspective for many. Annie is perceived as stunning and kinky. But people are flaky and stand anyone up. People live in their own little worlds where other's feelings don't matter as long as they've collected the photos, pulled the person, ticked the box, humiliated someone... Fab is renowned for such people and results in people becoming distant, wary and jaded.

It's not girl code, it's decency plain and simple.

If he has a good reason then he has the chance in work to explain and see what comes of it but with how things are when people get ghosted so often and for so many reasons, Annie has every right to believe that this is what has happened as there aren't usually that many excuses now not to let them know you can't make it.....as you've said, it's 2021 and everyone can send a message via so many platforms.

It’s fine. I’ve ate half my pizza. Got half for the morning. I don’t really know much about this guy, we’re friends on Facebook and he’s listed as single there. I don’t really wanna go full detective mode on it either cos that’s old me stuff. I don’t really care. If he had come down I would’ve shagged him but maybe it’s a good thing and it wasn’t meant to be. He’s not my department but he is still a boss in his department and higher than me.

When I saw him last night he was full of it. When I finished work this morning he messaged me to come to come see him before I left. When I got home he was messaging till I fell asleep and then said see you later but I was asleep for that.

I think messaging at half 3 this afternoon asking if he was awake was enough to indicate I was still interested in meeting.

Just see what happens when I’m in work next. He has got the option to whip me over to another department completely over the other side of the warehouse Amazon is massive. I’d never see him then. See if he does that!

I had a meet on Thursday night and we were constantly in contact. Mainly because of the pure unadulterated filthy messages that resulted in us both being horny as hell, but also to reassure each other that it was happening. I will go out of my way to ensure the op is totally confident that I will turn up or be in as I know how horrible it is to be ghosted or stood up. She also did the same and it all went amazing and an awesomely filthy night was had. There’s just no excuses for no contact in my opinion. Barr major incidents obviously

"Maybe he was tipped off the night was broadcast on FabSwingers?

You might not be wrong here. Huge company, I’m sure people there know.

Genuinely might be this. "

That doesn’t make any sense. She didn’t name him. He probably just got cold feet or was being a lazy ass. It happens. It’s also the most likely scenario.

I always think that but even people who may know the site I’d say an even smaller proportion would read the forums or even know about them.

The most annoying thing is I could have done overtime tonight. My daughter is with her Dad till tomorrow afternoon, this was my free weekend.

That's the most annoying thing, as a single mum when you don't get much time to yourself.

I just got told to get off my high horse because I wouldn't give someone a second chance. I'd rather stay up here!

It makes zero sense that someone that works with her spotted her on here with her face pictures, saw the post and knew about the giant polish guy bragging about his hot date tonight?

Zero sense?

So Christmassy too.

And all you wanted was to empty his sack and play with his baubles.

"It’s fine.

Hes a fool
