White vinegar gets rid of stubborn limescale. If you cannot soak, use the vinegar with kitchen roll. Needs to be left for a few hours.

Hairspray to remove pen from leather sofas.

Rice to soak up anything damp.

Tampons for nose bleeds.

Vaseline for cleaning patent leather.

Vaseline is also really good for squeaky door hinges.
